- a sample of the herbicide composition prepared according to Example 3 had a refractive index of 1.3715, a specific gravity of 1.0650 and a flash point of 82 °C. The sample was also analyzed by gas chromatography with mass spectroscopy of the effluent materials. According to the analysis, the results were consistent with a very substantial lack of glyphosate in the sample.
- Example 11 Toxicology of TTN-0847. Acute toxicology of TTN-0847 was determined by testing by oral administration to rats. The Acute Oral Toxicity LD50 value of >5000 mg/kg was obtained by using the US EPA OPPTS Series 870.1100 guidelines study for oral toxicity. Based on these results, the herbicide has an acute oral toxicology rating of Category 4, i.e., the highest safety rating for acute toxicology.

Abstract
La présente invention concerne des compositions et des procédés de lutte contre les plantes indésirables. Selon un aspect, l'invention concerne une composition herbicide à large spectre comportant des extraits d'au moins deux plantes ou parties de plantes, composition qui, suite à son application sur une plante cible, atteint, au moins partiellement par voie systémique, le xylème et/ou le phloème de la plante. L'invention concerne également une composition d'inhibiteur de germination systémique à large spectre respectueuse de l'environnement, comportant un mélange d'extraits végétaux et essentiellement dépourvue de glyphosate d'un point de vue pondéral. Ladite composition herbicide peut se révéler inefficace contre des plantes comportant de l'acide 5-énolpyruvylshikimique-3-phosphate synthase d'Agrobacterium. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication desdites compositions d'herbicides et d'inhibiteurs de germination, ainsi que leurs procédés d'utilisation.
