Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) zur Erwärmung eines Fluids (9), mit einem Gehäuse (2) umfassend einen Gehäusemantel (3), einen Gehäuseboden (4) und einen Gehäusedeckel (5), mit zumindest einer Einlauföffnung (11) und zumindest einer Ablauföffnung (13) für das Fluid (9), wobei in dem Gehäuse (2) zumindest zwei Elektroden in einem Abstand (25) zueinander angeordnet sind, die mit je einem Pol zumindest eines Pulsgenerators (20) elektrisch leitend verbunden sind. In Strömungsrichtung - Pfeil (27) des Fluids (9) ist hinter der oder den Elektroden eine Beruhigungsstrecke (38) für das Fluid (9) ausgebildet.
