Abstract

A firearm rail adapter comprising a rail adapter assembly (110, 300) configured to detachably attach to a structure (600), the rail adapter assembly comprising a first member (220, 316) proximate to the structure and a second member distal from the structure (210, 310), wherein the proximate first member and the distal second member (210, 310) define a conduit configured to: conduct electricity via a plurality of contact pads (112, 424); and/or transport data signals via at least one contact pad (421, 422, 423).
