Description

VACUUM FLASK WATER HEATER The Field of the Invention
The invention relates to vacuum flask water heater which has features of water heater used for supply of hot water and electrically operated and can also be used as vacuum flask.
The invention particularly relates to vacuum flask which can be used as conventional water heater, conventional vacuum flask, kettle for teabag, storing flask for cold beverages.
Background of the Invention Today it is known that electrically operated heaters (kettle) are used for heating and/or boiling the liquid contained therein in a short time period. The said heaters generally consist of a lower platform providing electrical connection and a heater body located on the lower platform and providing heating or boiling the liquid contained therein up to a specified temperature. It is essential to heat the water contained in the water chamber up to boiling temperature of 100 °C in existing water heaters. When the device is turned on, the water contained therein is heated up to temperature of 100°C and device is turned off when the boiling water reaches the boiling temperature, and there is no solution other than use of electrical heater for maintaining the temperature of the water after stop of the heating. In other words, another important point is to maintain the temperature after stop of heating the liquid. Following turning off the system, maintaining the temperature of the heated/boiled water for long time period is considerably important in terms of both energy saving and ergonomy of use. Two coating metal is used in some metal body heaters and the intermediate region between two metals is filled with insulation material or left empty. However, this case is for not causing any loss for the user due to high heat permeability of metals. The effect of insulation of this type for maintaining the temperature of water is as low as it can be neglected. Some patent applications relating to water heaters have been seen in the related art. For instance, Chinese patent application numbered CN 101530285 relates to a water heater for boiling water quickly. Also European patent application numbered EP1850711 can also be given as an example for heaters. One of the solutions developed in some heaters for maintaining the temperature after boiling is to heat the liquid contained in the heater again at lower energy by means of various methods. And since this case requires constant energy consumption, it is neither an economical nor an ideal solution environmentally. Moreover, the product must always be connected to power supply. In other words, in case of removing the product from the lower platform and using of it in a different place will cause heat loss in any case. The Chinese patent application numbered CN201303851 can be given for such type of embodiments.
Furthermore, the product must be kept at a certain position after boiling in existing heaters and kettles. Otherwise, the liquid contained therein splash and cause risks for users and power cables. In the existing partially insulated heater systems, the heater is kept outside the partial insulation. This case causes failure in full insulation and falling down of temperature quickly. Also the vaporizing path provided for control of boiling in such systems and channels providing outlet of water steam into atmosphere during heating expose the insulated region to ambient. This case adversely affects protection of the liquid temperature.
Another disadvantage of exposing the steam space to insulation region directly is that it causes spread of the liquid contained therein towards the region containing resistance and power lines when the position of the product is changed. This case not only adversely affects the insulation but also causes big risks in terms of security. Moreover, it is necessary to keep the product in the same position all the times. This case causes difficulties for users.
It is focused on heaters in general in the above descriptions, and vacuum flasks have been developed to provide maintaining temperature of liquid at a certain temperature for long time. However, existing vacuum flasks are only for maintaining the temperature of the liquid contained therein and they do not have any assembly capable to increase the temperature of the liquid contained therein.
In the light of the disadvantages of the embodiments existing in the related art described above, when all previous technical documents and existing embodiments are examined, the need for particularly a vacuum flask water heater maintaining the temperature of the liquid contained therein and inadequacy of existing solutions in the related art have necessitated development in the related art. Brief Description of the Invention
The present invention relates to a vacuum flask water heater meeting the needs mentioned above, eliminating all disadvantages and providing some additional advantages. From the existing state of the related art, the purpose of the invention is to disclose a vacuum flask water heater which can be used as both a heater and a vacuum flask and thus combine meeting of two needs in one product.
As a result of the above mentioned purpose, the purpose is to maintain the heated water at the same temperature by use of the feature of vacuum flask for long time and thus provide energy saving.
Purpose of the invention is to disclose a more environment-friendly product in comparison to the similar products because of its feature to meet two different needs by one single product and provide energy saving.
Another purpose of the invention is that it can also store cold beverages in addition to its feature to maintain temperature of the heated water.
A further purpose of the invention is that it is not necessary to keep it a certain position while the existing heaters are to be kept at a certain position when they contain liquid. When the product being subject of the invention is put into vacuum flask position, it can be kept in any desired position. The existing products have not been with different positions of heater and vacuum flask, which causes problems in insulation as well as security. In the light of this statement, another purpose of the invention is to provide a complete solution for security deficit by means of prevention of operation of the heater in vacuum flask position.
In order to achieve the above mentioned purposes, the invention is a vacuum flask water heater having feature of water heater and vacuum flask containing at least one inner stainless body constituting inner volume where the liquid will be put and constituting inner volume, an outer cover which can be opened and closed and allow putting liquid into the said body, at least one outer stainless body surrounding the said inner body with a certain distance, a vacuumed region provided between two the said bodies, at least one heater fixed onto the bottom of the said inner stainless body and having power supply from power supply bottom so as to provide storing of the at the temperature obtained by heating /boiling of the liquid put therein or maintaining the liquid at its temperature (cold) and it is characterized in that it comprises vacuum flask/water heater button in order to provide option of operating in one of two positions and that water discharge button and steam cover move vertically when the said button is put in water heater position and water path exposed to mouth part located on lower part of outer cover and steam path exposed to steam pressure sensor are opened to inner body where the liquid is contained, that water path exposed to mouth part located on lower part of outer cover and steam path exposed to steam pressure sensor are closed to inner body where the liquid is contained when the said button is in vacuum flask position, and thus insulation is provided between the atmosphere and the inner stainless body where the liquid is contained.
In order to achieve all advantages mentioned above and to be understood better with the detailed description given below, the present invention provides several advantages together with the said characteristics.
The structural and characteristics features of the invention and all advantages will be understood better in detailed descriptions with the figures given below and with reference to the figures, and therefore, the assessment should be made taking into account the said figures and detailed explanations.

The said water heater vacuum flask shown in Figure 2 consists of at least one inner stainless body (1), at least one outer stainless body (3) wrapping the said inner body (1) at a certain distance interval, an ambient vacuumed between the said two bodies (1 , 3), at least one heater (2) fixed to bottom of inner stainless body (1), at least one thermal fuse (28) providing operation safety in waterless case, body bottom cover (4) installed under the outer stainless body (3), female power transmission part (27) rotatable 360 degrees and installed to the said cover (4), mains power supply cable (29) supplying electricity to provide power supply, a power transmission bottom (25) located under the body, a male power transmission part (26) fixed to power transmission bottom (25), a power transmission cover (24) covering the power lower bottom (25), at least one valve spindle (30) to prevent the probable danger in the system under high pressure, and at least one spring (31) providing motion to this spindle.
It contains at least one silicone ring (5) located for insulation on the upper joining part where the outer stainless body (3) and inner stainless body (1) join, body top (6) part constituting the body sitting on the outer stainless body and also hosting the handle bottom part, silicone ring (9) located on inner part of the body top (6) providing insulation with outer cover bottom (7) part. Outer cover part of the water heater consists of outer cover bottom part (7) closing as tight locking to outer cover top part (15) and outer cover top part (15), two silicone rings (8,14) providing insulation with body top (6) and located on outer bottom part (7), steam cover (10) providing steam and water passage in the centre of the said outer cover bottom part (7), at least one silicone ring (1 1) providing movement of the said outer cover bottom part (7) on the said steam cover (10), steam cover spring (13) providing movement of the steam cover ( 0), a plate (12) fixing the said steam cover spring, water discharge button (18) providing movement of the said steam cover (10) in a manner to centre the said plate (12) and also providing automatic locking, vacuum flask/water heater button (16) realizing the water heater/vacuum flask positions on the outer cover top (15) and a spring (17) driving the button, steam pressure sensor (21) controlling the power on/off button (19) on the handle part of the body top (6), a cover (20) covering the handle part of the body top (6), locking part (22) preventing operation of power control on/off button (19) by pressing it in vacuum flask position, a secondary locking part (23) driving this part (22) and providing its connection to water discharge button (18).
There are two operation positions of vacuum flask water heater being subject of the invention. The first operation position is the cold storing position that is operation as vacuum flask, and the second one is the hot storing position, that is, the heating of the cold water and then storing it at the same temperature. Detailed descriptions of both operations have been provided in the following description.
Use of Vacuum Flask-Water Heater as heater:
Operation of the vacuum flask-water heater as water heater is indicated in Figure 3. The outer cover is opened and the liquid -preferably water- desired to be heated/boiled is put into it. After putting water, the said cover is closed and vacuum flask/water heater button (16) is turned into water heater position. In this position, the water discharge button (18) as indicated in Figure 3 provides vertical movement of the steam cover (10) by moving vertically. Thus the water channel opened to the mouth part located in outer cover bottom part (7) and steam channel opened to steam pressure sensor (21) are opened to the inner body (1) where the liquid is contained. In water heater position, power cable (29) is plugged in order to realize the heating function of the said locking part (22) at the same time. The body (1 , 3) part where the liquid to be heated is put is located on the power transmission bottom (25). The power button (19) remaining idle is turned into "on" position and the heater (2) is started. Heating of the water is started and the steam pressure sensor (21) turns the power control on/off button (19) into off position by means of the steam occurring when the water reaches boiling point. Operation of the heater (2) ends. In order to protect the product against high pressure that might occur in case of any blocking in any one of the channels opened to the atmosphere or any other problem in the system during operation, a steam control valve protecting the system against high steam pressure has been developed by means of providing appropriate parts from outer cover bottom part (7) and outer cover top parts (15) for such case by use of a valve spindle (30) and a valve spring (31).
Use of Vacuum Flask-Water Heater as vacuum flask:
Operation of the vacuum flask-water heater as vacuum flask is indicated in Figure 4. If it is intended to store the heated/boiled hot water for long time period without change of temperature, the vacuum flask/water heater button (16) is turned into vacuum flask position immediately after boiling. In this case the water channel opened to the mouth part located in outer cover bottom part (7) and steam channel opened to steam pressure sensor (21) are closed to the inner body (1) where the liquid is contained. Thus the insulation is provided by means of establishing a sealing between atmosphere and the inner stainless body (1) where the liquid is contained. In this case operation of the heater develops higher pressure on inner stainless body (1) and causes explosion. This problem has been solved down by means of pressing the power on/off button (19) and preventing the operation thereof through moving forward other locking part (22) where the secondary locking part (23) connected to water discharge button (18) in vacuum flask position. Thus the vacuum flask position prevents operation of the heater. It is not required to open the outer cover to discharge the water in vacuum flask position. To do this, force is applied to water discharge button (18) vertically and the steam cover (10) is also moved vertically. Without changing this position, in other words, while holding the water discharge button (18) pressed, the discharge operation can be made by giving slope to the vacuum flask water heater. In vacuum flask position, the steam control valve also protects the system against high pressure effect.
As shown in Figure 6, a steam discharge hole (32) is provided on outer cover bottom part (5) and a steam valve spindle (30) is located on it by force of a valve spring (31). In cases when the steam pressure is lower than the atmosphere pressure, the said valve spindle (30) sits on the outer cover bottom (5) tightly by effect of valve spindle spring (31 ). In this case, liquid and air leakage is not possible. In case the steam pressure developing in inner part increases over a certain value, the pressure force moves the steam valve spindle (30) vertically. Thus the inner part is opened to atmosphere. Since the steam pressure force will decrease upon achievement of normal level of steam pressure in inner region, steam control valve spindle (30) moves vertically in opposite direction again by effect of valve spindle spring (31). Thus the system becomes insulated again. This opening-closing operation occurs in seconds and therefore its insulation pausing effect is at a neglectable level.
