Abstract
본 발명은 하폐수 처리시설의 호기조 또는 혐기조에 설치되어 하폐수 내 유기물을 제거하는 동시에, 유기물 분해 과정에서 생성되는 전자 및 수소이온을 이용하여 전기를 생산하는 생물 전기화 장치에 관한 것으로, 다수의 미생물 연료전지를 간편하게 설치 또는 탈거 할 수 있도록 함으로서 폐수성상, 크기, 종류 등 설치 환경에 효율적으로 대응할 수 있게 하며, 미생물 연료전지에 사용되는 환원전극부를 외부 공기에 노출시킴으로서 산소공급장치 등 별도의 장치를 배제시키고, 분리막을 가격대비 고효율의 소재로 대체함으로서 장치의 설치, 운전, 유지비용을 감소시킬 뿐만 아니라 산화전극의 구조변화를 통해 박테리아의 서식량 증가, 처리수의 효율적인 흐름유도 및 슬러지 침강현상 억제 등의 효과를 구현할 수 있도록 한 것이 장점이다.
