Abstract

The present invention relates to a high performance noise resonance barrier for urban landscapes which can be installed in various noisy places such as noisy roads or railways, or places with daily life noises and vehicle noises. Conventional noise barriers (noise blocks) generally have perforations on the outer surfaces thereof, which lack aesthetic appeal. Although conventional noise barriers have a variety of colors and pictures thereon, processes for forming aesthetic appearances thereof are limited due to the characteristics of the materials in conventional noise barriers. Such conventional noise barriers are formed by assembling units made by injection-molding synthetic resins, which increases work time and costs. In contrast, the noise barrier of the present invention is formed by extrusion-molding a polycarbonate and aluminum or synthetic resins, thus simplifying work processes, reducing manufacturing costs, and allowing for ease of assembly, repair and maintenance. Furthermore, the noise barrier of the present invention uses a support adopting a front opening/closing system, which enhances the workability of conventional supports, thus allowing for ease of installation and repair and maintenance. To overcome the monotonous appearance of conventional noise barriers, the noise barrier of the present invention has an LED module inserted therein to display graphical representations, thus providing elements serving as a landmark suited to the characteristics of an area, and also providing novel scenery, noticeable physical features, initiatives and progressiveness for the 21st century, and symbolic significance. The noise barrier of the present invention provides a natural harmony between humans, the surrounding scenery and surrounding buildings, and can be used as a tourist attraction.
