Abstract
The invention relates to a heat exchanger (1), comprising a plurality of tubes (2) as the heat transfer surface, wherein on at least one connecting side (3) of the heat exchanger (1) at least one hood (4) can be attached. A compact heat exchanger designed in a material saving manner, which at the same time offers a large heat transfer surface, is achieved by providing at least two heat exchanger modules (5) and at least one carrier structure (6). The heat transfer modules (5) comprise tubes (2) and at least one tube plate (7), wherein the tubes (2) are connected to each other at the end regions thereof via the tube plates (7). The heat transfer modules (5) can be fastened with the tube plates (7) in the carrier structure (6) such that the inside volume of the hood (4) can be connected to the tube interior whereas the inside volume of the hood (4) is sealed with respect to the tube exterior. The carrier structure (6) surrounds the heat transfer modules (5) such that a portion of the forces is carried off the carrier structure (6).
