Abstract

무선랜 시스템에서의 MU-MIMO(Multi User - Multiple Input Multiple Output) 전송방법 및 이를 지원하는 무선장치를 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 MU-MIMO 전송방법은 MU-MIMO 전송의 대상이 되는 목적 STA에게 MU-MIMO 전송이 개시될 것임을 알리는 MU-MIMO 개시 메시지를 전송하고, MU-MIMO 개시 메시지에 대한 응답으로, 목적 STA으로부터 전송되는 사운딩 프레임을 수신하고, 사운딩 프레임으로부터 획득한 채널 정보를 기반으로 빔포밍하여 데이터를 MU-MIMO 전송하는 것을 포함하되, 사운딩 프레임은 프리코딩(precoding)되어 가상화된 AP와 STA간의 채널 정보 Hvirtual를 포함하고, Hvirtual의 차원(dimension)은 AP와 STA 간의 채널 정보 H 의 차원보다 낮은 것을 특징으로 한다.
