Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Diffusor (1) für eine Gassackvorrichtung eines Fahrzeuginsassen-Rückhaltesystems, mit einem ersten Ende (11) des Diffusors (1), das dazu geeignet und ausgebildet ist, mit einem Gasgenerator (2) verbunden zu werden, einem zweiten Ende (12) des Diffusors (1), das dazu geeignet und ausgebildet ist, Gas, welches am oder im ersten Ende (11) in den Diffusor (1) eintritt, in einen Gassack abzugeben, wobei der Diffusor (1) zwischen dem ersten Ende (11) und dem zweiten Ende (12) rohrförmig ausgebildet ist und hierzu eine mit einer Innenbohrung (14) versehene Umfangswand (13) aufweist. Es ist vorgesehen, dass das zweite Ende (12) eine stirnseitige Öffnung (15) aufweist, deren Durchmesser gleich dem Durchmesser der Innenbohrung (13) im Bereich des zweiten Endes (12) ist. Die Erfindung betrifft des Weiteren eine Gassackvorrichtung mit einem Gassack, einem Gasgenerator und einem Diffusor.
