Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour faire fonctionner un moteur à combustion interne à allumage commandé, le point d'allumage d'au moins un dispositif d'allumage étant avancé pour augmenter la température de la chambre de combustion, dans au moins une plage de fonctionnement du moteur. L'invention vise à réduire notablement la quantité et/ou la masse de particules dans les émissions polluantes d'un véhicule à allumage commandé pendant la phase de mise en température du moteur. A cet effet, l'avance du point d'allumage est réalisé pendant au moins un temps de chauffe du catalyseur.
