Abstract

A presente invenção diz respeito a um método e dispositivo de controlo e detecção multiponto de baixa latência aplicado, por exemplo, a uma grelha capacitiva (111). A grelha consiste numa série de micro-filamentos condutores (101-110), colocados entre duas chapas ou camadas transparentes, dispostos em linhas e colunas, que se cruzam, formando uma matriz. A leitura do campo electromagnético criado na imediação da grelha, possibilita a detecção de objectos próximos ou em contacto. A invenção apresenta elevada sensibilidade permitindo nomeadamente a detecção de ar e/ou vapor carregado electricamente, mais especificamente a detecção da intensidade, direcção e localização de uma massa de ar ou vapor expelido, mesmo em simultâneo com a detecção de toque. A presente invenção é útil para potenciar as capacidades de interacção entre sistemas e o utilizador, podendo ser aplicado em sistemas com detecção/interacção (simultânea ou não). Estes sistemas poderão ser aplicados, por exemplo, em entretenimento, controlo e medição.
