Abstract

A presente invençâo revela extratos de plantas pertenecentes ao gênero sclerolobium, a processos para sua obtenção e a formulações cosmética e farmacêuticas contendo tais extratos. Tais extratos podem ser obtidos através de extraçôes polares e/ou apolares, cada fração contendo diferentes antioxidantes, todos úteis no tratamento tópico.É ainda revelado o uso desse extrato em formulações cosméticas e/ou farmacêuticas para uso tópico.
