Abstract

The invention relates to a motor system (1), particularly for an electrical locking device in a motor vehicle, comprising: - - a DC motor (2); an actuating circuit (4) comprising a power semiconductor switch (5) and implemented for providing an actuating voltage for the DC motor (2) as a function of a control signal; - a control unit (10) for providing the control signal for actuating the actuating circuit (4) according to a pulse width modulated actuation, wherein during a first period of time a period duration of the supply voltage is applied to the DC motor (2) , and during a second period of time of the period duration, no voltage is supplied to the DC motor (2) by the actuating circuit; wherein the actuator circuit (4) is coupled to the DC motor (2) so that a generator current generated during the second time duration of the DC motor (2) flows out through the actuating circuit (4).
