Abstract

The invention relates to an inner heat exchanger for separately guiding a cooling fluid flow and a fluid flow to be cooled. In order to improve the heat transfer between the two separately guided fluid flows, a cylindrical flow body (20) is provided, comprising a convex impact surface (42) on the front end thereof. A plurality of individual tubes (12) forming a parallel tube bundle are disposed on a circumference of a circle in the flow body (20), guiding the fluid flow to be cooled. The individual tubes are located in longitudinal holes (43) of the flow body (20) extending in parallel axes, forming an annular gap (45) through which the cooling fluid flows.
