Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for removing carbon dioxide generated during combustion, which removes carbon dioxide from the waste gas generated when fuel used for operating a heater (boiler, fan heater, etc.) and other apparatuses (incinerator, generator, etc.), that is, oil (light oil, lamp oil, LPG, bunker C oil, etc.) and solid fuel (brown coal, lump coal, briquettes, molded charcoal, lumber, solidified fuel, palm kernel shell fuel, etc.) are burnt, and discharged through a flue, so as to prevent atmospheric contamination. The composition of the present invention is prepared by adding and mixing 0.25% of sodium hydroxide serving as a reaction persisting agent and 2.25% of magnesium oxide serving as a reaction retardant with 97.50% of calcium hydroxide solution prepared by dissolving burned lime, which is calcium oxide, into water. The composition of the present invention removes carbon dioxide generated during combustion to increase the quantity of heat, and reduces the amount of carbon dioxide emitted to the atmosphere to prevent global warming caused by the greenhouse effect.
