Abstract

An eyeglasses frame and its processing method are provided. The method comprises the following steps: processing the metal wire to form a groove at one side and an embossed decorative pattern at the other side; folding the metal wire into the eyeglasses frame, and making the side with the groove face inwards and retaining the lens; welding the coupling ends of the metal wire. So the eyeglasses frame has the groove which is arranged at the inner side for adapting the lens, and also has at least an embossed decorative pattern at the outside.

Description

EYEGLASSES FRAME AND ITS PROCESSING METHOD
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates generally to an eyeglasses frame and its processing method, and more particularly to an innovative one which is designed specifically with a lens frame along with its processing method
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Eyeglasses frames generally are made of many materials by existing technologies, e.g. metal and organic materials. In spite of the low production cost and simple forming technique of organic materials, the eyeglasses frame thereof has a poor visual effect and is vulnerable to deformation or even harmful to the users' eyes.
Therefore, most of the existing eyeglasses are commonly equipped with a metal frame, which is fabricated by welding two eyeglasses frames and a nose support as well as the screwing members for linking the eyeglasses legs. However, the existing eyeglasses frames generally allow the metal wire to be folded as per the parameters of a certain type of lens, and then processed accordingly, e.g. adjusting the curvature of eyeglasses frame. As the eyeglasses frame is formed into a circular shape, making it difficult to adapt itself to the lens and generate embossed pattern.
Existing eyeglasses frames are typically provided with a ring form of consistent diameter, so only the curvature of the ring form could be adjusted, but random design cannot be realized. To this end, there is still a room for improvement and development.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The purpose of the present invention is to provide an eyeglasses frame and its processing method, which enables to improve the production flow of eyeglasses frame and realize a process of freely designing eyeglasses frame and corresponding products.
The technical package of the present invention is as follows:
a processing method of an eyeglasses frame, including the following steps:
A: Process the metal wire to form a groove at one side and an embossed decorative pattern at the other side;
B: Fold the metal wire into an eyeglasses frame, and permit one side with a groove to face inwards for retaining the lens;
C: Weld the coupling end of the metal wire.
Said processing method, of which, said step A also includes: acquire a metal wire of predefined length from the wire coil and then cut down to form the metal wire unit.
Said processing method, of which, said step A also includes: punch the metal wire unit to form different wire gauges.
Said processing method, of which, said step A also includes: punch the metal wire unit to form several circular embossed dents with different gaps.
Said processing method, of which, said step B also includes: fold the metal wire unit according to the size and curvature of the lens.
Said processing method, of which, said step C also includes: cut the coupling end, and install a screwing mechanism to connect the both ends.
An eyeglasses frame used to retain the lens, which is folded by a metal wire unit around the lens; a groove is arranged at inner side for adapting the lens; at least an embossed decorative pattern is also set on the eyeglasses frame.
Said eyeglasses frame, of which different wire gauges are arranged around the lens of the eyeglasses frame. Said eyeglasses frame, of which several circular embossed dents with different gaps are arranged around the lens of the eyeglasses frame.
Said eyeglasses frame, of which the coupling ends of the metal wire unit are welded together and can also be cut into two ends, between which a screwing mechanism is placed.
The present invention provides an eyeglasses frame and its processing method. As embossed decorative pattern is set on the metal wire unit, an eyeglasses frame of strong 3D sense can be formed, thus realizing a top-quality metal frame by easily modifying the technical process.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
The processing method of the eyeglasses frame of the present invention mainly lies in that, the technical process can be adjusted based on existing technologies, namely, the embossed decorative pattern on the eyeglasses frame can be processed mechanically by means of stretching and compressing of the metal wire unit. Give the fact that wire processing can be easily performed by existing mechanical equipments, such as: compressing machine, various embossed patterns can be easily shaped, and the wire gauges at different positions can be adjusted, thereby forming various intended decorative patterns when the eyeglasses frame is shaped.
The processing method of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1 , comprises the following steps:
S101 : acquire the metal wire unit: said metal wire is a commonly-used raw material for processing the eyeglasses frame by existing technology, which is available with different types for meeting actual demands; the metal wire unit can be acquired by either cutting the wires into predefined length, or processed firstly into preset form and then cut as a processing unit of the processing machine.
S102: process the metal wire unit: a groove 210 can be formed at one side of the wire by means of compressing, etc, as shown in FIGS. 3a-3c; the embossed decorative pattern 220 can be designed to be formed at other side and positions, as shown in FIG. 2. The embossed decorative pattern 220 (i.e. an integrated pattern after eyeglasses frame is formed) can be processed on the wire as per the design; the simple processing technique allows for easy processing of the vertical plane of the metal wire unit, but existing processing technique cannot realize the processing of embossed dents on the eyeglasses frame.
The processing equipment adopted for the present invention refers to a common compressing machine.
S103: fold the processed metal wire unit into an eyeglasses frame. When the metal wire unit is folded, one side with a groove 210 faces inwards for retaining the lens.
S104: finally weld the coupling ends 231 , 232 of the metal wire unit, as shown in FIGS. 4a-4b and FIG. 5; the folded and welded eyeglasses frame is illustrated in FIG. 2, wherein the inner side can be used for assembly of lens. The subsequent processing technique comprises: connection of eyeglasses legs as well as two eyeglasses frames.
According to another preferred embodiment of the processing method of the present invention, the metal wire unit is punched to form different wire gauges and several circular embossed dents with varying gas during the production process described in S102. Various flexible designs are made possible in line with the actual effect and design patterns of the eyeglasses frame. As the processing on wire is easier than that on circular frame, the processing process of the present invention has overcome the shortcoming of existing technology for the metal eyeglasses frame, making it convenient to design and process flexibly the eyeglasses frame with excellent visual effect.
In the processing method of this invention, said S103 also includes: the metal wire unit can be folded according to the size and curvature of the lens, allowing for minor adjustment of the eyeglasses frame after production. Additionally, S104 also includes: cut the welded coupling ends 231 , 232 of the eyeglasses frame, as shown in FIG. 2, and install a screwing mechanism to connect both ends for easy assembly of lens.
The eyeglasses frame of the present invention has no inherent difference with prior art, but the production technology of the present invention could help to process not only various eyeglasses frames of prior art, but also a novel eyeglasses frame of strong 3D sense.
Referring to FIG. 2-an eyeglasses frame of the present invention for retaining the lens, wherein a metal wire unit is folded around the lens, and a groove 210 is arranged at inner side as shown in FIGS. 3a-3c, wherein the metal wire unit is punched and folded to form the eyeglasses frame 200 for adapting the lens; at least an embossed decorative pattern 220 is also set on the eyeglasses frame 200. Preferably, several decorative patterns 220 can be arranged along the molded eyeglasses frame with an unequal spacing, providing the frame with a better 3D impression and textural quality. The embossed decorative pattern can also be processed onto the metal wire by common compressing machine.
As the eyeglasses frame of the present invention is firstly processed on the metal wire, the arrangement around the lens of the eyeglasses frame is very flexible depending on the changing wire gauges, and the embossed decorative pattern can be placed at any sides other than the side with the groove.
For the eyeglasses frame of the present invention, the embossed decorative patterns are implemented on the metal wire or the cut metal wire unit, as shown in FIGS. 4a and 4b as well as FIG. 5. With the introduction of processing technology on the metal wire, the eyeglasses frame of the present invention has variable wire gauge, and circular embossed dents or embossed decorative patterns can be randomly punched, so the eyeglasses frame of the present invention presents excellent 3D sense and decorative attribute, and allows changing flexibly the design as a novel structure.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

Claims

What is Claimed:
1. A processing method of an eyeglasses frame, including the following steps:
A: Process the metal wire to form a groove at one side and an embossed decorative pattern at the other side;
B: Fold the metal wire into an eyeglasses frame, and permit one side with a groove to face inwards for retaining the lens;
C: Weld the coupling end of the metal wire.
2. The processing method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said step A also includes: acquire a metal wire of predefined length from the wire coil and then cut down to form the metal wire unit.
3. The processing method as claimed in claim 2, wherein said step A also includes: punch the metal wire unit to form different wire gauges.
4. The processing method as claimed in claim 2, wherein said step A also includes: punch the metal wire unit to form several circular embossed dents with different gaps.
5. The processing method as claimed in claim 2, wherein said step B also includes: fold the metal wire unit according to the size and curvature of the lens.
6. The processing method as claimed in claim 1 to 5, wherein said step C also includes: cut the coupling end, and install a screwing mechanism to connect the both ends.
7. An eyeglasses frame used to retain the lens, which is folded by a metal wire unit around the lens; a groove is arranged at inner side for adapting the lens; at least an embossed decorative pattern is also set on the eyeglasses frame.
8. An eyeglasses frame as claimed in Claim 7, wherein different wire gauges are arranged around the lens of the eyeglasses frame.
9. An eyeglasses frame as claimed in Claim 7, wherein said eyeglasses frame, of which several circular embossed dents with different gaps are arranged around the lens of the eyeglasses frame.
10. An eyeglasses frame as claimed in Claim 7 to 9, wherein said eyeglasses frame, of which the coupling ends of the metal wire unit are welded together and can also be cut into two ends, between which a screwing mechanism is placed.
