Abstract

The invention relates to a sealing device for a seam between a rotor blade and a housing of a wind turbine. Modern wind turbines have rotor blades that are mounted on the hub of the rotor in such a way that they can rotate about their longitudinal axis, and the angle of attack of the rotor blade can thereby be adapted according to wind and the required position. There is a seam between the rotor blade and the hub. The aim of the invention is to improve a housing for a wind turbine in such a way that, inter alia, the disadvantages of prior art are avoided. This is achieved by the features of patent claim 1, whereby a sealing device is provided on the seam between the rotor blade and the housing of the spinner or the hub. Said sealing device comprises at least two covering rings. A first covering ring can be connected to the rotor blade in a rotationally fixed manner, and the second covering ring can be connected to the housing in a rotationally fixed manner. The covering rings each comprise a skirt for repelling or catching liquid. When the covering rings are mounted on the rotor blade or on the housing according to the invention, the skirts are arranged in the direct vicinity of each other such that fluid can be essentially prevented from penetrating the seam. The covering rings are arranged on the rotor blade or on the housing such that an essentially tight connection is produced between the covering ring and the rotor blade or the housing.
