Abstract

Doppelkolbenmotor mit zwei in einem Verbrennungsraum gegeneinander verschieblich angeordneten Kolben (1, 3), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Außendurchmesser des einen Kolben (1) in etwa dem Innendurchmesser des Verbrennungsraums entspricht, wobei der eine Kolben (1) im Verbrennungsraum verschieblich angeordnet ist und auf seiner dem Verbrennungsraum abgewandten Seite eine Aufnahme für den anderen Kolben (3) aufweist, der andere Kolben (3) in der Aufnahme des einen Kolben (1) verschieblich angeordnet und über eine Pleuelstange (4) mit einer Welle verbunden ist, wobei der eine Kolben (1) auf seiner dem anderen Kolben (3) abgewandeten Stirnseite eine die Aufnahme mit dem Verbrennungsraum oberhalb des einen Kolbens (1) verbindende, vom anderen Kolben (3) verschließbare Öffnung aufweist.
