Abstract
The invention relates to the organization of public lotteries in which different prizes, including cash prizes, are awarded. The technical problems which the proposed invention is intended to solve are those of increasing the protection of lottery tickets against forgery and of making it possible to automatically read said tickets and conduct lotteries by using cash dispensers for the draw. These technical problems are solved in that the lottery ticket, in the form of a laminated cardboard or plastic card, is provided with an information carrier in the form of a magnetic strip, bar code or microchip, and in that the card has a 85.6×53.98 mm or 171.2×53.98 mm or 85.6×107.96 mm format. The information carrier is also provided with one or two scratch fields in the form of a metal coating. Such a lottery ticket design makes it possible to increase the degree of protection of the ticket against forgery and makes it possible to automate the drawing process by using cash dispensers for the draw.
