Abstract

Provided is an auxiliary game broadcast system, which receives images obtained by photographing a stadium (hereinafter referred to as "game images"), and generates auxiliary images for showing a plane model of the stadium and the locations of players, and a recording medium for a method for same, wherein the system comprises: an image-acquiring unit which acquires images obtained by photographing a stadium (hereinafter referred to as "game images"); an image-analyzing unit which analyzes the game images to extract coordinates of the stadium and coordinates of the players in the stadium; an auxiliary image generating unit which generates auxiliary game broadcast images for showing the moved locations of the players on the plane model of the stadium using the coordinates of the stadium and the coordinates of the players; and an image-processing unit which overlaps the auxiliary game broadcast images with game broadcast images. The thus-configured auxiliary game broadcast system and the recording medium for a method for same provide auxiliary images which display motion or moving paths of players on the plane of the stadium such that viewers may see the motion or moving paths at a glance and accurately understand the overall status of the game.
