Abstract

La présente invention concerne une fonction d'interfonctionnement ou "IWF" (InterWorking Function) par laquelle, une fonction de référence de politique et de règles de facturation ou "hPCRF" (home Policy and Charging Rules Function) (12) connectée à une fonction visitée de politique et de règles de facturation ou "vPCRF" (visited Policy and Charging Rules Function) par un "Diamètre", détermine l'information provisoire de qualité de service d'une station mobile (UE) en réponse à une demande de connexion de la station mobile (UE) reçue en provenance de la vPCRF, et transmet à la vPCRF une réponse de connexion contenant l'information provisoire de qualité de service; une fonction passerelle de desserte ou "S-GW" ( S erving Gateway) (14), connectée à une passerelle de réseau de données en paquets ou "P-GW" (Packet Data Network-Gateway) par un protocole de mise en tunnel du GPRS ou "GTP" (GPRS Tunneling Protocol) transmet à la P-GW la demande de connexion de la station mobile (UE) contenant l'information de qualité de service provisoire; la fonction hPCRF (12) transmet une demande de renouvellement contenant l'information officielle de qualité de service de la station mobile (UE) contenue dans une réponse de connexion reçue en provenance de la P-GW; et enfin la P-GW connectée à la S-GW par un protocole internet de mobile mandataire ou "PMIP" (Proxy Mobile IP) transmet à la S-GW une réponse de connexion qui ne contient pas l'information officielle de qualité de service.
