Abstract

 通信システム(100)においては、基地局(BS)と移動局(111,112,121,131,132,141,142)との間で中継局(RN1~RN4)を経由して無線通信を行う。中継局(RN1~RN4)は、互いの干渉状態を測定し、測定結果を示す報告信号を基地局(BS)へ送信する。基地局(BS)は、中継局(RN1~RN4)によって送信された各報告信号に基づいて中継局(RN1~RN4)に無線リソースを割り当てる。

Description

基地局、中継局、通信システムおよび通信方法
 本発明は、無線通信を行う基地局、中継局、通信システムおよび通信方法に関する。
 基地局(BS:Base Station)と移動局(UE:User Equipment)とが中継局(RN:Relay Station)を経由して無線通信を行う通信システムが検討されている(たとえば、下記特許文献1および下記非特許文献1参照。)。このような通信システムにおいては、たとえば基地局が、通信システムの各通信区間に対して干渉が生じないように異なる無線リソースを割り当てる。

 しかしながら、上述した従来技術では、無線リソースを効率よく使用することができないという問題がある。たとえば、各通信区間に対して異なる無線リソースを割り当てると、通信システムの全体で必要な無線リソースが多くなる。また、各通信区間に対して割り当てられる無線リソースの帯域が狭くなってスループットが低下する。
 開示の基地局、中継局、通信システムおよび通信方法は、上述した問題点を解消するものであり、無線リソースを効率よく使用することを目的とする。
 上述した課題を解決し、目的を達成するため、この基地局は、中継局を経由して移動局と無線通信を行う基地局において、複数の中継局の互いの干渉状態の測定結果を示す報告信号を受信する受信部と、前記受信部によって受信された報告信号に基づいて前記複数の中継局に無線リソースを割り当てる割当部と、前記割当部によって割り当てられた各無線リソースを示す割当信号を前記複数の中継局へそれぞれ送信する送信部と、を備える。
 開示の基地局、中継局、通信システムおよび通信方法によれば、無線リソースを効率よく使用することができる。

 以下に図面を参照して、この基地局、中継局、通信システムおよび通信方法の好適な実施の形態を詳細に説明する。
(実施の形態)
 図1は、実施の形態にかかる通信システムを示す図である。実施の形態にかかる通信システム100は、基地局BSと、中継局RN1~RN4と、を含み、基地局BSと移動局とが中継局RN1~RN4を経由して無線通信を行う通信システムである。図1の直線矢印は、通信システム100における各通信区間を示している。中継局RN1~RN4は、基地局BSのセル10に設けられ、基地局BSとの間で無線通信を行う。
 セル10に位置する移動局は、中継局RN1~RN4のいずれかを経由して基地局BSと無線通信を行うか、または基地局BSと直接、無線通信を行う。または、セル10に位置する移動局は、中継局RN1~RN4のいずれかを経由する基地局BSとの無線通信と、基地局BSとの直接の無線通信と、を同時に行ってもよい。
 たとえば、セル10に位置する移動局は、送受信電波強度が最も強い経路を選択し、選択した経路によって基地局BSと無線通信を行う。ここでは、移動局11~13は、基地局BSと直接、無線通信を行う。また、中継局RN1のセル110に位置する移動局111,112は、中継局RN1を経由して基地局BSと無線通信を行う。
 また、中継局RN2のセル120に位置する移動局121は、中継局RN2を経由して基地局BSと無線通信を行う。また、中継局RN3のセル130に位置する移動局131,132は、中継局RN3を経由して基地局BSと無線通信を行う。また、中継局RN4のセル140に位置する移動局141,142は、中継局RN4を経由して基地局BSと無線通信を行う。
 基地局BSは、通信システム100において使用可能な無線リソースを、通信システム100における各通信区間に対して割り当てる。このとき、基地局BSは、各通信区間における無線通信が互いに干渉しないように無線リソースを割り当てる。つぎに、基地局BSによって割り当てられる無線リソースについて説明する。
 図2は、基地局によって割り当てられる無線リソースの一例を示す図である。図2において、横軸は時間(Time)を示し、縦軸は周波数(Freq.)を示している。図1に示した基地局BSによって各通信区間に割り当てられる無線リソースは、たとえば、無線リソース210と、無線リソース220と、無線リソース230と、に分けられる。
 無線リソース210は、基地局BSと移動局(UE)との間の通信に割り当てられる無線リソースである。無線リソース220は、基地局BSと中継局RN(中継局RN1~RN4)との間の通信に割り当てられる無線リソースである。無線リソース230は、中継局RNと移動局(UE)との間の通信に割り当てられる無線リソースである。
 ここでは、無線リソース210,220,230は、周波数によって分割された無線リソースである。ただし、無線リソース210,220,230は、時間によって分割された無線リソースであってもよいし、符号によって分割された無線リソースであってもよいし、これらの組み合わせによって分割された無線リソースであってもよい。
 無線リソース230は、中継局RN1~RN4ごとにさらに分けられる。ここでは、中継局RN1~RN3は、互いに十分離れた位置にあり、互いに干渉しない(たとえば干渉が無視できる程度に小さい)とする。また、中継局RN4と中継局RN3は、互いに近い位置にあり、互いに干渉するとする。この場合において、たとえば、基地局BSは、中継局RN1,RN2,RN4に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てる。
 たとえば、基地局BSは、中継局RN1,RN2,RN4に対して、無線リソース230に含まれる無線リソース231を割り当てる。また、基地局BSは、中継局RN3に対して、中継局RN1,RN2,RN4とは異なる無線リソースを割り当てる。たとえば、基地局BSは、中継局RN3に対して、無線リソース230に含まれる無線リソース232を割り当てる。
 このように、通信システム100においては、互いに干渉する各中継局には異なる無線リソースを割り当てることで干渉を回避するとともに、互いに干渉しない各中継局には同じ無線リソースを割り当てることで無線リソースを効率的に使用する。このような無線リソースの割当について以下に詳細に説明する。
 図3は、中継局間の干渉状態の測定を示す図である。図3において、図1に示した部分と同様の部分については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。図3に示すように、中継局RN1~RN4は、それぞれ測定信号311~314を周囲に送信する。測定信号311~314は、たとえば中継局RN1~RN4において互いに既知の信号である。
 たとえば、測定信号311~314の信号系列は、DM-RS(Demodulation Reference Signal)やRACH(Random Access Channel)で使用されるCAZAC(Constant Amplitude Zero Auto-Correlation)系列でもよいし、他の信号系列でもよい。
 中継局RN1~RN4は、たとえば、互いに順番に測定信号を送信し、測定信号を送信していない中継局は他の中継局からの測定信号を受信して干渉量を測定する。ここでは、中継局RN1,RN2,RN3,RN4,RN1,…の順に測定信号を送信している。たとえば、中継局RN1が測定信号311を送信するタイミングでは、中継局RN2~RN4は、測定信号311を受信することで中継局RN1から自局への干渉量を測定する。
 これにより、中継局RN1~RN4は、互いの干渉量を定期的に測定することができる。電力プロファイル321~324は、それぞれ中継局RN1~RN4において測定される干渉量を示している。電力プロファイル321~324において、横軸は時間を示し、縦軸は測定信号の電力の振幅を示している。また、電力プロファイル321~324の斜線部分は、自局が測定信号を送信するタイミングを示している。
 たとえば、中継局RN1は、中継局RN2~RN4のいずれからも離れた位置にあるため、電力プロファイル321における中継局RN2~RN4からの干渉量のピークはいずれも閾値th以下である(OK)。中継局RN2は、中継局RN1,RN3,RN4のいずれからも離れた位置にあるため、電力プロファイル322における中継局RN1,RN3,RN4からの干渉量のピークはいずれも閾値th以下である(OK)。
 中継局RN3は、中継局RN1,RN2と離れており、中継局RN4と近い位置にある。このため、電力プロファイル323における中継局RN1,RN2からの干渉量のピークは閾値th以下であり(OK)、中継局RN4からの干渉量のピークは閾値thを超えている(NG)。電力プロファイル323により、中継局RN3が、中継局RN4からの干渉を受けることが分かる。
 中継局RN4は、中継局RN1,RN2と離れており、中継局RN3と近い位置にある。このため、電力プロファイル324における中継局RN1,RN2からの干渉量のピークは閾値th以下であり(OK)、中継局RN3からの干渉量のピークは閾値thを超えている(NG)。電力プロファイル324により、中継局RN4が、中継局RN3からの干渉を受けることが分かる。
 中継局RN1~RN4は、たとえば、干渉量のピークが閾値thを超えたか否か(OKまたはNG)の判定結果を自局のメモリに記憶する。そして、中継局RN1~RN4は、互いの干渉量を定期的に測定してメモリに記憶した判定結果を更新する。つぎに、中継局RN1~RN4から基地局BSへの干渉状態の測定結果の報告について説明する。
 図4は、各中継局から基地局への干渉状態の報告信号の送信を示す図である。図4において、図1に示した部分と同様の部分については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。中継局RN1~RN4は、干渉状態の測定結果を示す報告信号411~414を基地局BSへ送信する。たとえば、中継局RN1~RN4と基地局BSとの間に報告チャネルを定義し、報告チャネルにより中継局RN1~RN4が報告信号411~414を送信する。
 報告信号411~414は、たとえば、中継局RN1~RN4によって測定された干渉量が閾値(図3の閾値th)を超えたか否か(図3のOKまたはNG)を示す信号である。図3の例では、中継局RN1は、中継局RN2~RN4のいずれも干渉量が閾値以下(OK)であったことを示す報告信号411を基地局BSへ送信する。また、中継局RN2は、中継局RN1,RN3,RN4のいずれも干渉量が閾値以下(OK)であったことを示す報告信号412を基地局BSへ送信する。
 また、中継局RN3は、中継局RN1,RN2からの干渉量が閾値以下(OK)であり、中継局RN4からの干渉量が閾値を超えた(NG)ことを示す報告信号413を基地局BSへ送信する。また、中継局RN4は、中継局RN1,RN2からの干渉量が閾値以下(OK)であり、中継局RN3からの干渉量が閾値を超えた(NG)ことを示す報告信号414を基地局BSへ送信する。
 図4に示した例においては、基地局BSは、たとえば中継局RN1~RN3に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てるとともに、中継局RN1~RN3とは異なる無線リソースを中継局RN4に対して割り当てる。または、基地局BSは、中継局RN1,RN2,RN4に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てるとともに、中継局RN1,RN2,RN4とは異なる無線リソースを中継局RN3に対して割り当てるようにしてもよい。
 ただし、干渉量が閾値以下の各中継局に対してすべて同じ無線リソースを割り当てなくてもよい。たとえば、中継局RN1,RN2に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当て、中継局RN3に対して中継局RN1,RN2とは異なる無線リソースを割り当て、中継局RN4に対して中継局RN1~RN3とは異なる無線リソースを割り当ててもよい。
 基地局BSは、割り当てた無線リソースを中継局RN1~RN4へ通知する。中継局RN1~RN4のそれぞれは、基地局BSから自局に対して通知された無線リソースを用いて、自セルの移動局との間で無線通信を行う。このように、互いの干渉量が閾値以下の各中継局に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てることで、中継局間の干渉を抑えつつ、無線リソースを効率よく使用することができる。
 図5は、測定信号の送受信と報告信号の送信のタイミングを示す図である。図5において、横軸は時間(Time)を示している。期間T1においては、まず中継局RN1が測定信号の送信を行う(符号511)。つぎに、中継局RN2~RN4が中継局RN1からの干渉量を測定する(符号512)。つぎに、中継局RN2~RN4が干渉量の測定結果を示す報告信号を基地局BSへ送信する(符号513)。
 期間T1の次の期間T2においては、まず中継局RN2が測定信号の送信を行う(符号521)。つぎに、中継局RN1,RN3,RN4が中継局RN2からの干渉量を測定する(符号522)。つぎに、中継局RN1,RN3,RN4が干渉量の測定結果を示す報告信号を基地局BSへ送信する(符号523)。
 期間T2の次の期間T3においては、まず中継局RN3が測定信号の送信を行う(符号531)。つぎに、中継局RN1,RN2,RN4が中継局RN3からの干渉量を測定する(符号532)。つぎに、中継局RN1,RN2,RN4が干渉量の測定結果を示す報告信号を基地局BSへ送信する(符号533)。
 期間T3の次の期間T4においては、まず中継局RN4が測定信号の送信を行う(符号541)。つぎに、中継局RN1~RN3が中継局RN4からの干渉量を測定する(符号542)。つぎに、中継局RN1~RN3が干渉量の測定結果を示す報告信号を基地局BSへ送信する(符号543)。
 期間T1~T4を繰り返すことで、中継局RN1~RN4の互いの干渉量の測定結果を定期的に基地局BSへ報告することができる。なお、ここでは中継局RN1~RN4による測定信号の送受信動作と、基地局BSへの報告信号の送信動作と、を同じ周期で行う場合について説明したが、これらの各動作の周期は同じでなくてもよい。これらの各動作の周期は、中継局RN1~RN4と基地局BSとの間のトラフィックの量などに基づいて基地局BSが制御してもよいし、あらかじめ所定の周期に設定しておいてもよい。
 また、中継局RN1~RN4が定期的に互いの干渉量を測定して基地局BSへ報告することで、通信環境の変化や中継局の配置状態の変化があっても、常に効率よく無線リソースを割り当てることが可能である。通信環境の変化とは、たとえば、ビル建設や天候の変化などである。中継局の配置状態の変化とは、たとえば、イベントなどに対応するため一時的な増減や、中継局の段階的な導入における増加などである。
 なお、図5に示したように中継局の測定動作を順番に行う場合は、たとえば、中継局RN1~RN4は、自局からの測定信号を受信するタイミングの情報を基地局BSから取得する。このタイミングの情報は、たとえば、基地局BSから中継局RN1~RN4へ送信されるRN制御情報などから取得することができる。
 たとえば、中継局RN1~RN4をサブフレーム1~4に割り当てることを示す情報を基地局BSから中継局RN1~RN4へ送信する。中継局RN1~RN4は、自局が対応するサブフレームにおいて測定信号を送信するようにする。このように、中継局RN1~RN4は、自局の送信タイミングを示す情報を基地局BSから受信し、受信した情報が示す送信タイミングで測定信号を送信する。
 また、セル10内の中継局の数を示す情報を基地局BSから中継局RN1~RN4へ送信するようにしてもよい。中継局RN1~RN4は、セル10内の中継局の数と、自局に割り当てられた中継局IDの番号と、に基づくタイミングにより測定信号を送信する。たとえば、中継局RN1~RN4のそれぞれは、自局に割り当てられた中継局IDの番号の順番に測定信号を送信していき、最後の中継局(中継局IDの番号がセル10内の中継局の数と一致する)が測定信号を送信すると、最初の中継局がつぎに測定信号を送信する。
 この場合は、全体で最初の測定信号の送信の開始タイミングについてはあらかじめ決めておく。たとえば、サブフレーム0において最初の中継局が測定信号を送信することを決めておく。また、基地局BSは、セル10内の中継局の数を、RN制御情報などによって中継局RN1~RN4に送信する。このRN制御情報の送信は、定期的に行ってもよいし、セル10内の中継局の数が変化した場合に行ってもよい。
 また、中継局RN1~RN4における測定信号を送信する順番は、中継局IDの番号順に限らず、あらかじめ定められた順番であればよい。このように、中継局RN1~RN4のそれぞれは、自局と他の中継局とを含む中継局の数を示す情報を基地局BSから受信し、受信した情報が示す数に基づいて送信タイミングを取得し、取得した送信タイミングで測定信号を送信するようにしてもよい。
 図6は、無線リソースの割当結果の一例を示す図である。図6において、図2に示した部分と同様の部分については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。図6に示す通信システム600は、図1に示した通信システム100の変形例であり、基地局BSを囲む同心円状に中継局RN1~RN10が順に配置されている。
 中継局RN1~RN10のうちの、奇数番号の中継局同士、あるいは偶数番号の中継局同士は互いに干渉しないとする。無線リソース230における割当例610は、中継局RN1~RN10に対してすべて異なる無線リソースを割り当てる場合を参考として示している。この場合は、中継局RN1~RN10において互いの干渉を回避することが可能であるが、無線リソース230をさらに10個の無線リソースに分割することになる。
 無線リソース230における割当例620は、中継局RN1~RN10において、互いに干渉する各中継局には異なる無線リソースを割り当て、互いに干渉しない各中継局には同じ無線リソースを割り当てる場合を示している。通信システム600においては、たとえば割当例620のように、中継局RN1,RN3,RN5,RN7,RN9に対して無線リソース621を割り当て、中継局RN2,RN4,RN6,RN8,RN10に対して無線リソース622を割り当てる。
 この場合は、無線リソース230を2つ(無線リソース621,622)に分割すれば、中継局RN1~RN10において互いの干渉を回避することができる。このため、割当例620は、割当例610に対して無線リソースの利用効率を5倍にすることができる。たとえば、無線リソースが限られている場合に、中継局RN1~RN10のそれぞれは、5倍の帯域の無線リソースを用いて無線通信を行うことができるため通信品質が向上する。または、図示しないが、中継局RN1~RN10のそれぞれが用いる無線リソースが同じである場合に、全体で使用する無線リソースを1/5に低減することができる。
 図7は、中継局の構成の一例を示す図である。上述した各中継局には、たとえば図7に示す中継局700を用いることができる。中継局700は、アンテナ701と、A/D変換部702と、分離部703と、DL干渉量測定部704と、DL信号処理部705と、DL測定信号生成部706と、合成部707と、D/A変換部708と、アンテナ709と、A/D変換部710と、分離部711と、UL信号処理部712と、UL干渉量測定部713と、干渉量報告信号作成部714と、UL測定信号生成部715と、合成部716と、D/A変換部717と、を備えている。
 アンテナ701は、無線通信を行うためのアンテナであり、DL(Down Link)帯域の受信およびUL(Up Link)帯域の送信を行う。ただし、DL帯域の受信およびUL帯域の送信をそれぞれ異なるアンテナによって行う構成としてもよい。アンテナ701は、たとえば、他の中継局からのDL帯域の測定信号(DL測定信号)や、基地局BSから移動局へのDLトラフィック信号(たとえばデータや制御信号を含む)を受信する。アンテナ701は、受信した信号をA/D変換部702へ出力する。
 A/D変換部702は、アンテナ701から出力された信号をアナログからデジタルに変換し、変換した信号を分離部703へ出力する。なお、A/D変換部702の前段または後段に信号を増幅するアンプを設けてもよい。
 分離部703は、A/D変換部702から出力された信号を周波数により分離する。分離部703は、A/D変換部702からの信号に含まれるDLトラフィック信号をDL信号処理部705へ出力するとともに、A/D変換部702からの信号に含まれるDL測定信号をDL干渉量測定部704へ出力する。分離部703は、たとえばFFT(Fast Fourier Transform:高速フーリエ変換)を行うFFT回路である。
 DL干渉量測定部704は、分離部703から出力されたDL測定信号に基づいて、DL測定信号を送信した中継局から中継局700へのDL帯域の干渉量(DL干渉量)を測定する。DL干渉量測定部704は、DL干渉量の測定結果を干渉量報告信号作成部714へ出力する。DL干渉量測定部704は、DL干渉量を示す測定結果を出力してもよいし、DL干渉量が閾値を超えたか否かを示す測定結果を出力してもよい。
 DL信号処理部705は、分離部703から出力されたDLトラフィック信号の信号処理(たとえば図8参照)を行い、信号処理を行ったDLトラフィック信号を合成部707へ出力する。また、DL信号処理部705は、合成部707へ出力するDLトラフィック信号に、中継局700が各移動局へ送信するBCH(Broadcast Channel:報知信号)やPCH(Paging Channel:ページングチャネル)を含めてもよい。DL測定信号生成部706は、中継局700から送信するためのDL測定信号を生成し、生成したDL測定信号を合成部707へ出力する。
 合成部707は、DL信号処理部705から出力されたDLトラフィック信号と、DL測定信号生成部706から出力されたDL測定信号と、を合成してD/A変換部708へ出力する。合成部707は、たとえばIFFT(Inverse FFT:逆高速フーリエ変換)を行うIFFT回路である。D/A変換部708は、合成部707から出力された信号をデジタルからアナログへ変換し、変換した信号をアンテナ709へ出力する。
 アンテナ709は、無線通信を行うためのアンテナであり、たとえばDL帯域の送信およびUL帯域の受信を行う。ただし、DL帯域の送信およびUL帯域の受信をそれぞれ異なるアンテナによって行う構成としてもよい。アンテナ709は、たとえば、D/A変換部708から出力された信号を無線送信する。アンテナ709によって送信された信号に含まれるDLトラフィック信号は移動局によって受信される。また、アンテナ709によって送信された信号に含まれるDL測定信号は他の中継局によって受信される。
 また、アンテナ709は、他の中継局からのUL帯域の測定信号(UL測定信号)や、移動局から基地局BSへのULトラフィック信号(たとえばデータや制御信号を含む)を受信する。なお、アンテナ709が受信するULトラフィック信号には、移動局が送信するRACH信号が含まれていてもよい。アンテナ709は、受信した信号をA/D変換部710へ出力する。
 A/D変換部710は、アンテナ709から出力された信号をアナログからデジタルに変換し、変換した信号を分離部711へ出力する。なお、A/D変換部710の前段または後段に信号を増幅するアンプを設けてもよい。
 分離部711は、A/D変換部710から出力された信号を周波数により分離する。分離部711は、A/D変換部710からの信号に含まれるULトラフィック信号をUL信号処理部712へ出力するとともに、A/D変換部710からの信号に含まれるUL測定信号をUL干渉量測定部713へ出力する。分離部711は、たとえばFFTを行うFFT回路である。UL信号処理部712は、分離部711から出力されたULトラフィック信号の信号処理を行ってULトラフィック信号を合成部716へ出力する。
 UL干渉量測定部713は、分離部711から出力されたUL測定信号に基づいて、UL測定信号を送信した中継局から中継局700へのUL帯域の干渉量(UL干渉量)を測定する。UL干渉量測定部713は、測定したUL干渉量を干渉量報告信号作成部714へ出力する。たとえば、UL干渉量測定部713は、UL干渉量を示す測定結果を出力してもよいし、UL干渉量が閾値を超えたか否かを示す測定結果を出力してもよい。
 干渉量報告信号作成部714は、DL干渉量測定部704から出力されたDL干渉量の測定結果と、UL干渉量測定部713から出力されたUL干渉量の測定結果と、を含む報告信号を作成する。干渉量報告信号作成部714は、作成した報告信号を合成部716へ出力する。UL測定信号生成部715は、中継局700から送信するためのUL測定信号を生成し、生成したUL測定信号を合成部716へ出力する。
 合成部716は、UL信号処理部712から出力されたULトラフィック信号と、干渉量報告信号作成部714から出力された報告信号と、UL測定信号生成部715から出力されたUL測定信号と、を合成してD/A変換部717へ出力する。合成部716は、たとえばIFFTを行うIFFT回路である。
 D/A変換部717は、合成部716から出力された信号をデジタルからアナログへ変換し、変換した信号をアンテナ701へ出力する。アンテナ701は、D/A変換部717から出力された信号を無線送信する。アンテナ701によって送信された信号に含まれるULトラフィック信号は基地局BSによって受信される。また、アンテナ701によって送信された信号に含まれるUL測定信号は他の中継局によって受信される。
 通信システム100における中継局RN1~RN4は、中継局700のように、DL帯域の送受信およびUL帯域の送信受の機能を備えていることが多い。これを利用して、中継局RN1~RN4は、UL測定信号とDL測定信号の両方を互いに送受信し、ULとDLのそれぞれにおける互いの干渉量を測定することができる。
 図8は、図7に示したDL信号処理部の処理の一例を示す図である。図8において、図7に示した構成と同様の構成については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。図7に示したDL信号処理部705は、たとえば、図8に示すように、信号点デマッピング部801と、HARQ受信バッファ802と、加算部803と、ターボ復号CRCチェック部804と、CRC付加ターボ符号化部805と、HARQ送信バッファ806と、スイッチ807と、信号点マッピング部808と、を備えている。
 信号点デマッピング部801は、分離部703から出力された信号の信号点デマッピングを行い、信号点デマッピングを行った信号を加算部803へ出力する。HARQ受信バッファ802は、HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request)の処理を行う。具体的には、HARQ受信バッファ802は、加算部803から出力される信号を一時格納する。
 そして、HARQ受信バッファ802は、信号の送信元から信号が再送された場合は、格納していた信号を加算部803へ出力する。加算部803は、信号点デマッピング部801から出力された信号と、HARQ受信バッファ802から出力された信号と、を加算してターボ復号CRCチェック部804へ出力すると同時に、加算後の信号をHARQ受信バッファ802へ一時格納する。
 ターボ復号CRCチェック部804は、加算部803から出力された信号のターボ復号CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check:巡回冗長検査)チェックを行う。そして、ターボ復号CRCチェック部804は、ターボ復号CRCチェックによって誤りが検出された場合は、信号の送信元に対して再送要求を行う。また、ターボ復号CRCチェック部804は、ターボ復号CRCチェックによって誤りが検出されなかった場合は加算部803から出力された信号をCRC付加ターボ符号化部805へ出力する。
 CRC付加ターボ符号化部805は、ターボ復号CRCチェック部804から出力された信号のCRC付加ターボ符号化を行い、CRC付加ターボ符号化を行った信号をスイッチ807へ出力する。初回送信時は、スイッチ807はCRC付加ターボ符号化部805に接続されている。HARQ送信バッファ806は、スイッチ807から信号点マッピング部808へ出力される信号を一時格納し、信号の送信先から再送要求がなされた場合は、格納していた信号をスイッチ807へ出力する。
 スイッチ807は、信号の送信先から再送要求がなされた場合にHARQ送信バッファ806と接続し、HARQ送信バッファ806から出力される信号を信号点マッピング部808へ出力する。それ以外の場合はCRC付加ターボ符号化部805と接続し、CRC付加ターボ符号化部805から出力される信号を信号点マッピング部808へ出力する。信号点マッピング部808は、スイッチ807から出力された信号の信号点マッピングを行い、信号点マッピングを行った信号を合成部707へ出力する。
 図8においてはDLトラフィック信号に対するDL信号処理部705の処理の一例を説明したが、ULトラフィック信号に対するUL信号処理部712の処理にも同様の処理を適用することができる。また、DL信号処理部705やUL信号処理部712の処理は、図8に示した処理に限らない。たとえば、DL信号処理部705やUL信号処理部712の処理は、図8によって説明した処理の一部または全部を省いた処理にしてもよい。
 図9は、基地局の構成の一例を示す図である。上述した基地局BSにはたとえば図9に示す基地局900を用いることができる。基地局900は、アンテナ901と、A/D変換部902と、分離部903と、UL信号処理部904と、MACレイヤ信号処理部905と、UL制御信号処理部906と、スケジューラ907と、DL信号処理部908と、DL制御信号生成部909と、合成部910と、D/A変換部911と、を備えている。
 アンテナ901は、無線通信を行うためのアンテナであり、たとえばDL帯域の送信およびUL帯域の受信を行う。ただし、DL帯域の送信およびUL帯域の受信をそれぞれ異なるアンテナによって行う構成としてもよい。アンテナ901は、たとえば、中継局からの報告信号や、移動局や中継局から基地局BSへのULトラフィック信号を受信する。アンテナ901は、受信した信号をA/D変換部902へ出力する。
 A/D変換部902は、アンテナ901から出力された信号をアナログからデジタルに変換し、変換した信号を分離部903へ出力する。なお、A/D変換部902の前段または後段に信号を増幅するアンプを設けてもよい。
 分離部903は、A/D変換部902から出力された信号を周波数により分離する。分離部903は、A/D変換部902からの信号に含まれるデータ(ULデータ)をUL信号処理部904へ出力する。また、分離部903は、A/D変換部902からの信号に含まれる制御信号をUL制御信号処理部906へ出力する。また、分離部903は、A/D変換部902からの信号に含まれる報告信号をスケジューラ907へ出力する。分離部903は、たとえばFFTを行うFFT回路である。
 UL信号処理部904は、分離部903から出力されたULデータに対して復号などの信号処理を行い、信号処理を行ったULデータをMACレイヤ信号処理部905へ出力する。また、UL信号処理部904は、信号処理において行った復号の判定結果をスケジューラ907へ出力するようにしてもよい。
 MACレイヤ信号処理部905は、UL信号処理部904から出力されたULデータのMAC(Media Access Control)レイヤの信号処理を行い、信号処理したULデータを上位レイヤへ出力する。また、MACレイヤ信号処理部905は、上位レイヤから出力されたデータ(DLデータ)をDL信号処理部908へ出力する。
 UL制御信号処理部906は、分離部903から出力された制御信号に対して復号などの信号処理を行ってスケジューラ907へ出力する。スケジューラ907には、UL制御信号処理部906から出力された制御信号や、上位レイヤから取得した各種パラメータが入力される。これらの制御信号や各種パラメータには、たとえばQoS(Quality of Service)やトラフィック量、通信品質を示すCQI(Channel Quality Indicator)などが含まれている。
 スケジューラ907は、UL制御信号処理部906から出力された制御信号や上位レイヤから取得した各種パラメータに基づいて、通信システム100における各通信区間における通信のスケジューリングを行う。また、スケジューラ907は、分離部903から出力された報告信号に基づいて、中継局と移動局との間(RN-UE間)に対する中継局ごとの無線リソースの割当を行う。たとえば、スケジューラ907は、互いの干渉量が閾値以下の各中継局に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てるとともに、互いの干渉量が閾値を超える各中継局に対して異なる無線リソースを割り当てる。
 また、スケジューラ907は、互いの干渉量が閾値以下の各中継局に対して、通信品質の高い無線リソースを優先的に割り当ててもよい。通信品質の高い無線リソースとは、たとえばCQIが高い無線リソースである。これにより、複数の中継局に対して通信品質の高い無線リソースが割り当てられるため、通信システム100の全体のスループットを向上させることができる。また、スケジューラ907は、UL信号処理部904から出力された復号の判定結果に基づいて、再送制御のスケジューリングなどを行ってもよい。
 スケジューラ907は、スケジューリングにより得られた信号処理パラメータをDL信号処理部908へ出力する。信号処理パラメータは、たとえばDL信号処理部908における変調方式や送信タイミングなどを示す情報である。また、スケジューラ907は、スケジューリングにより得られた制御情報をDL制御信号生成部909へ出力する。制御情報には、たとえば、通信システム100における各通信区間に対して割り当てた無線リソースを示す割当情報が含まれている。
 DL信号処理部908は、MACレイヤ信号処理部905から出力されたDLデータを、スケジューラ907から出力された信号処理パラメータに基づいて信号処理して合成部910へ出力する。DL制御信号生成部909は、スケジューラ907から出力された制御情報を示す制御信号を生成し、生成した制御信号を合成部910へ出力する。
 合成部910は、DL信号処理部908から出力されたDLデータと、DL制御信号生成部909から出力された制御信号と、を合成してD/A変換部911へ出力する。合成部910は、たとえばIFFTを行うIFFT回路である。
 D/A変換部911は、合成部910から出力された信号をデジタルからアナログへ変換し、変換した信号をアンテナ901へ出力する。アンテナ901は、D/A変換部911から出力された信号を無線送信する。アンテナ901によって送信された信号は、通信システム100における各移動局や各中継局によって受信される。
 図10は、無線リソースの割当処理の一例を示すフローチャートである。基地局900のスケジューラ907は、たとえば以下のような無線リソースの割当処理を行う。まず、基地局BSと移動局との間(BS-UE間)の通信と、基地局BSと中継局との間(BS-RN間)の通信と、中継局と移動局との間(RN-UE間)の通信と、にそれぞれ異なる無線リソースを割り当てる(ステップS1001)。
 つぎに、ステップS1001によって基地局BSと移動局との間(BS-UE間)の通信に割り当てられた無線リソースを各移動局に割り当てる(ステップS1002)。つぎに、ステップS1001によって基地局BSと中継局との間(BS-RN間)の通信に割り当てられた無線リソースを各中継局(RN)に割り当てる(ステップS1003)。
 つぎに、ステップS1001によって中継局と移動局との間(RN-UE間)の通信に割り当てられた無線リソースを各中継局に対して割り当て(ステップS1004)、一連の割当処理を終了する。これにより、通信システム100の各通信区間に対して、通信システム100において使用可能な無線リソースを割り当てることができる。なお、ステップS1002~S1004については順序を入れ替えて行ってもよい。
 図11は、図10に示した割当処理による無線リソースの割当結果の一例を示す図である。図11において、横軸は時間(Time)を示し、縦軸は周波数(Freq.)を示している。たとえば、図10のステップS1001において、基地局BSと移動局との間(BS-UE間)の通信に対して無線リソース1110が割り当てられる。また、基地局BSと中継局との間(BS-RN間)の通信に対して無線リソース1120が割り当てられる。また、中継局と移動局との間(RN-UE間)の通信に対して無線リソース1130が割り当てられる。
 基地局900と直接通信を行う移動局を移動局UE1~UE4とする。図10のステップS1002においては、無線リソース1110に含まれる無線リソース1111~1114を、それぞれ移動局UE1~UE4に対して割り当てる。この場合は、たとえば移動局UE1は、無線リソース1111を用いて基地局900と通信を行う。
 基地局900と通信を行う中継局を中継局RN1~RN3とする。図10のステップS1003においては、無線リソース1120に含まれる無線リソース1121~1123を、それぞれ中継局RN1~RN3に対して割り当てる。この場合は、たとえば中継局RN1は、無線リソース1121を用いて基地局900と通信を行う。
 ここで、中継局RN1と中継局RN3は、互いに干渉しない旨の報告信号が基地局900へ送信されたとする。この場合は、図10のステップS1004においては、無線リソース1130に含まれる無線リソース1131を中継局RN1,RN3の両方に対して割り当て、無線リソース1130に含まれる無線リソース1132を中継局RN2に割り当てる。この場合は、たとえば中継局RN1,RN3は、同じ無線リソース1131を用いて移動局との通信を行う。
 図12は、図10のステップS1004の一例を示すフローチャートである。まず、各中継局から送信された報告信号を取得する(ステップS1201)。つぎに、ステップS1201によって報告信号に含まれる中継局の中で、グループ化されていない中継局を抽出する(ステップS1202)。
 つぎに、ステップS1202によって抽出された中継局の中で、互いの干渉量が閾値以下の中継局の組があるか否かを判断する(ステップS1203)。互いの干渉量が閾値以下の中継局の組がある場合(ステップS1203:Yes)は、その中継局の組をグループ化し(ステップS1204)、ステップS1202へ戻って処理を続行する。
 ステップS1203において、互いの干渉量が閾値以下の中継局の組がない場合(ステップS1203:No)は、図10のステップS1001によって中継局と移動局との間(RN-UE間)の通信に割り当てられた無線リソースを各中継局に対して割り当てる(ステップS1205)。ステップS1205においては、同じグループに属する中継局に対しては同じ無線リソースを割り当てる。また、異なるグループに属する中継局同士や、グループ化されていない中継局同士に対しては互いに異なる無線リソースを割り当てる。
 ステップS1204において、複数通りのグループ化が可能である場合は、たとえば、互いに干渉しない中継局の組のうちの最も中継局の数が多い組を1つ選択し、選択した組をグループ化する。このように、グループ化される中継局の数が最も大きくなるようにグループ化を行うことで、同じ無線リソースを割り当てる中継局の数を多くし、無線リソースをさらに効率よく使用することができる。
 図13は、各中継局の互いの干渉状態の一例を示す図である。図13に示すテーブル1300は、中継局RN1~RN3の互いの干渉量を、ULとDLのそれぞれについて示している。たとえば、中継局RN1と中継局RN2、中継局RN1と中継局RN3、の各組はULとDLともに互いに干渉しない(OK)ことを示している。また、中継局RN2と中継局RN3の組はULとDLともに互いに干渉する(NG)ことを示している。
 図12に示したステップS1202においては、まず、グループ化していない中継局として中継局RN1~RN3が抽出され、ステップS1204においてはたとえば中継局RN1と中継局RN2がグループ化される。そして、ステップS1205においては中継局RN1,RN2に同じ無線リソースが割り当てられ、中継局RN1,RN2とは異なる無線リソースが中継局RN3に割り当てられる。
 また、LTE(Long Term Evolution)やWiMAX(Worldwide interoperability for Microwave Access)などで採用されているスケジューリング方式では、周波数領域(または時間領域)におけるリソースの配分が行われる。このため、UL(UpLink)とDL(DownLink)で異なる帯域を用いることがある。
 UL帯域とDL帯域が大きく離れている場合は、ULとDLとで各中軽局の互いの干渉状態が異なる場合がある。たとえば、UL帯域は2GHz帯でDL帯域は800MHz帯であると、800MHz帯は2GHz帯よりも電波の減衰や回折に強く干渉しやすいため、ULにおいては干渉が生ずるがDLにおいては干渉が生じないことがある。
 このため、各中継局は、UL帯域とDL帯域のそれぞれについて干渉状態を測定するようにするとよい。この場合は、基地局900のスケジューラ907は、ULとDLのそれぞれについて、図10に示した無線リソースの割当処理を行う。これにより、各中継局の互いの干渉状態を精度よく無線リソースの割当に反映させることができる。
 また、各中継局において、一方の中継局は他方の中継局から干渉を受けるが、他方の中継局は一方の中継局から干渉を受けない場合は、基地局900のスケジューラ907は、各中継局に対して異なる無線リソースを割り当てるとよい。これにより、各中継局における干渉を回避することができる。
 図14は、ULとDLに対する無線リソースの割当の一例を示す図である。図14において、横軸は周波数(Freq.)を示している。通信システム100において、たとえば、図14に示すようにULに対して800MHzの周波数帯域の無線リソース1410を割り当て、DLに対して2GHzの周波数帯域の無線リソース1420を割り当てる。
 一般的に、受信より送信の方が増幅アンプの電力を多く消費する。また、低い周波数での送信は、高い周波数での送信よりも電波の減衰が少ないため、同じ電力で送信する場合は低い周波数の方が電波の届く範囲が広がる。このため、ULに対してDLよりも低い周波数帯域を割り当てることで、移動端末における消費電力を低減することができる。
 図15は、ULとDLの干渉の違いを示す図である。図15において、図1に示した部分と同様の部分については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。ULとDLで異なる帯域を使用する場合は、電波が届く範囲に差があるため、中継局間の干渉量にも差が現れる。図15に示す領域1511~1514は、それぞれ中継局RN1~RN4によるULの電波が届く範囲を示している。領域1521~1524は、それぞれ中継局RN1~RN4によるDLの電波が届く範囲を示している。
 ULに対してDLよりも低い周波数帯域を割り当てる場合は、領域1511~1514および領域1521~1524に示すように、ULの電波が届く範囲がDLの電波が届く範囲より広くなる。このため、中継局RN3と中継局RN4との間においては、DLにおいては干渉しないが、ULにおいては干渉する状態となる。
 図16は、図15に示した状態における干渉状態の測定結果の一例を示す図である。各中継局の干渉状態が図15に示した状態となっている場合は、中継局同士の干渉状態の測定結果は図16のテーブル1600のようになる。テーブル1600は、ULにおける中継局RN3と中継局RN4との間の干渉量が閾値を超えている(NG)ことを示しており、他の通信区間においては干渉量が閾値未満である(OK)ことを示している。
 図17は、図16に示した測定結果に基づく無線リソースの割当結果の一例を示す図である。図17において、図14に示した部分と同様の部分については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。図17に示すように、基地局BSは、ULにおける基地局BSと移動局UEとの間の通信には無線リソース1711を割り当てる。
 また、基地局BSは、ULにおける基地局BSと中継局RNとの間の通信に無線リソース1712を割り当てる。また、基地局BSは、ULにおける、中継局RN3,RN4と移動局UEとの通信に対して無線リソース1713を割り当て、中継局RN4と移動局UEとの通信に対して無線リソース1714を割り当てる。
 また、基地局BSは、DLにおける基地局BSと移動局UEとの間の通信には無線リソース1721を割り当て、DLにおける基地局BSと中継局RNとの間の通信に無線リソース1722を割り当てる。また、基地局BSは、DLにおける、中継局RN1~RN4と移動局UEとの通信に対して無線リソース1723を割り当てる。
 図18は、図15に示した状態における干渉状態の測定結果の他の一例を示す図である。図18に示すように、中継局RN1~RN4において、ULとDLのいずれかにおける干渉量を測定するようにしてもよい。たとえば、UL帯域とDL帯域が近い周波数であれば、ULとDLのそれぞれにおける互いの干渉量はほぼ同じであると考えられる。
 この場合は、ULとDLのいずれかにおける干渉量を測定しても、中継局間の干渉状態を測定することができる。ULとDLのいずれかにおける干渉量を測定することで、干渉量の測定処理量を低減することができる。また、この場合は、各中継局が送信する測定信号もULとDLのいずれかで足りるため、測定信号の情報量を低減することができる。
 なお、ULとDLのいずれかにおける干渉量を測定する場合は、ULとDLのうちの周波数帯域が高い方(ここではDL)について測定するとよい。周波数帯域の高い方が干渉が起こりやすいため、ULとDLのうちの周波数帯域が高い方について干渉量を測定することで、互いに干渉する各中継局を精度よく判定することができる。
 図19は、図18に示した測定結果に基づく無線リソースの割当結果の一例を示す図である。図19において、図17に示した部分と同様の部分については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。図19に示すように、図18に示した測定結果に基づくULにおける無線リソースの割当は、図17に示した割当と同じである。
 また、DLにおける基地局BSと移動局UEとの間の通信と、DLにおける基地局BSと中継局RNとの間の通信とは図17に示した割当と同じである。また、基地局BSは、DLにおける中継局RN1~RN3と移動局UEとの通信に対して無線リソース1911を割り当て、DLにおける中継局RN4と移動局UEとの通信に対して無線リソース1912を割り当てる。このように、ULにおける干渉量を測定し、測定結果をULとDLのスケジューリングに用いる。
 図20は、中継局のULにおける干渉状態の測定動作の一例を示すフローチャートである。図7に示した中継局700は、中継局700が備える制御部の制御により、たとえば以下のようなULにおける干渉状態の測定動作を行う。まず、自局がUL測定信号を送信するタイミングか否かを判断する(ステップS2001)。
 ステップS2001において、送信するタイミングである場合(ステップS2001:Yes)は、UL測定信号生成部715によりUL測定信号を作成する(ステップS2002)。つぎに、ステップS2002によって作成されたUL測定信号をアンテナ701により他の中継局へ送信し(ステップS2003)、一連の動作を終了する。
 ステップS2001において、自局がUL測定信号を送信するタイミングでない場合(ステップS2001:No)は、他の中継局からのUL測定信号をアンテナ709により受信する(ステップS2004)。つぎに、ステップS2004によって受信されたUL測定信号に基づいて、UL測定信号を送信した中継局と自局との間の干渉量をUL干渉量測定部713により測定する(ステップS2005)。
 つぎに、ステップS2005による干渉量の測定結果を示す報告信号を干渉量報告信号作成部714により作成する(ステップS2006)。つぎに、ステップS2006によって作成された報告信号をアンテナ701により基地局BSへ送信し(ステップS2007)、一連の動作を終了する。
 図21は、中継局のDLにおける干渉状態の測定動作の一例を示すフローチャートである。図7に示した中継局700は、中継局700が備える制御部の制御により、たとえば以下のようなDLにおける干渉状態の測定動作を行う。まず、自局がDL測定信号を送信するタイミングか否かを判断する(ステップS2101)。
 ステップS2101において、送信するタイミングである場合(ステップS2101:Yes)は、DL測定信号生成部706によりDL測定信号を作成する(ステップS2102)。つぎに、ステップS2102によって作成されたDL測定信号をアンテナ709により他の中継局へ送信し(ステップS2103)、一連の動作を終了する。
 ステップS2101において、自局がDL測定信号を送信するタイミングでない場合(ステップS2101:No)は、他の中継局からのDL測定信号をアンテナ701により受信する(ステップS2104)。つぎに、ステップS2104によって受信されたDL測定信号に基づいて、DL測定信号を送信した中継局と自局との間の干渉量をDL干渉量測定部704により測定する(ステップS2105)。
 つぎに、ステップS2105による干渉量の測定結果を示す報告信号を干渉量報告信号作成部714により作成する(ステップS2106)。つぎに、ステップS2106によって作成された報告信号をアンテナ701により基地局BSへ送信し(ステップS2107)、一連の動作を終了する。
 図7に示した中継局700は、ULにおける干渉状態の測定動作(図20参照)と、DLにおける干渉状態の測定動作(図21参照)と、をたとえば同時に行う。または、中継局700は、ULにおける干渉状態の測定動作と、DLにおける干渉状態の測定動作と、を交互に行うようにしてもよい。
 以上の説明においては、中継局RN1~RN4は、互いに順番に測定信号を送信し、測定信号を送信していない中継局は他の中継局からの測定信号を受信して干渉量を測定する場合について説明した。これに対して、たとえば無線通信システムにおいて利用されるRACHを利用して、中継局RN1~RN4が同時に測定信号を送受信することもできる。
 図22は、RACHを利用した中継局干渉の干渉状態の測定を示す図である。RACHは、たとえば、UL帯域において複数の端末が同じタイミングでRACH信号(RACHの系列番号はそれぞれ異なる)を送信し、受信側はRACH系列番号を用いて複数のRACH信号を区別して受信するものである。
 RACH信号を送受信するためのRACH回路については、基地局だけでなく中継局にも設けることが検討されている。たとえば、図22の通信システム100における中継局RN1~RN3のそれぞれは、RACH回路(たとえば図23参照)を備えている。中継局RN1~RN3はそれぞれRACH信号2210,2220,2230を送信する。
 電力プロファイル2211は、中継局RN1によって受信される系列番号2に対応する干渉量を示している。電力プロファイル2212は、中継局RN1によって受信される系列番号3に対応する干渉量を示している。電力プロファイル2221は、中継局RN2によって受信される系列番号1に対応する干渉量を示している。電力プロファイル2222は、中継局RN2によって受信される系列番号3に対応する干渉量を示している。
 電力プロファイル2231は、中継局RN3によって受信される系列番号1に対応する干渉量を示している。電力プロファイル2232は、中継局RN3によって受信される系列番号2に対応する干渉量を示している。このように、RACH信号を測定信号として送受信することで、測定信号を送受信するための回路を特に設けなくても中継局RN1~RN3の互いの干渉状態を測定することができる。
 また、それぞれのRACH信号は、RACH系列番号を中継局RN1~RN3においてあらかじめ共有しておけば、それぞれのRACH系列番号に対する電力プロファイルを分離することができる。このため、中継局RN1~RN3が同時に測定信号の送受信を行うことも可能である。また、この場合は、測定信号を送受信するためのタイミング制御を行わなくても測定信号の送受信ができるため、制御を単純化することができる。
 図23は、RACH回路を備える中継局の構成を示す図である。図23において、図7に示した構成と同様の構成については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。図23に示すように、中継局700は、図7に示したUL信号処理部712に代えてUL信号処理部2310を備えていてもよい。UL信号処理部2310は、RACH信号受信部2311と、RACH結果報告信号生成部2312と、トラフィック信号処理部2313と、判定部2314と、を備えている。
 分離部711は、A/D変換部710からの信号に含まれるULトラフィック信号と、A/D変換部710からの信号に含まれるRACH信号と、をRACH信号受信部2311へ出力する。RACH信号受信部2311は、分離部711から出力されたRACH信号を受信し、受信したRACH信号の電力プロファイルをRACH結果報告信号生成部2312および判定部2314へ出力する。
 RACH結果報告信号生成部2312は、RACH信号受信部2311から出力された電力プロファイルを示すRACH結果報告信号を生成して合成部716へ出力する。トラフィック信号処理部2313は、図7に示したUL信号処理部712と同様の処理を行う。すなわち、トラフィック信号処理部2313は、分離部711から出力されたULトラフィック信号の信号処理を行って合成部716へ出力する。
 判定部2314は、RACH信号受信部2311から出力された電力プロファイルのピークが閾値を超えているか否かを判定する。2314は、判定結果を干渉量報告信号作成部714へ出力する。干渉量報告信号作成部714は、DL干渉量測定部704から出力されたDL干渉量の測定結果と、判定部2314から出力された判定結果と、を含む報告信号を作成する。
 合成部716は、UL信号処理部2310から出力されたRACH結果報告信号およびULトラフィック信号と、干渉量報告信号作成部714から出力された報告信号と、UL測定信号生成部715から出力されたUL測定信号と、を合成する。合成部716は、合成した信号をD/A変換部717へ出力する。
 図24は、回り込みの干渉除去を行う中継局の構成の一例を示す図である。図24においては、図23に示した中継局700の構成の一部を簡略化して示している。図24に示す中継局700は、分離部703と合成部707との間に干渉除去部2410が設けられている。干渉除去部2410は、アンテナ709から送信された信号のうちのアンテナ701への回り込み信号2401をキャンセルするように、分離部703から出力された信号の信号処理を行う。これにより、RACH信号の送信と受信を同時に行う場合に、回り込み信号2401による通信品質の低下を回避することができる。
 以上、中継局間の干渉状態を測定してスケジューリングに利用する方式について説明したが、同様の方式は、基地局間に対しても応用可能である。図25~図27において、基地局間の干渉状態を測定し、測定結果を電波強度の設定に利用する方式を説明する。
 図25は、通信システムへの基地局の増設を示す図である。たとえばLTEなどの新しいシステムを導入する際は、基地局を追加設置して順次増加させ、カバーエリアを広めていくことが考えられる。たとえば、図25に示すように、基地局BS1および基地局BS2が稼働している通信システム2500に対して、新たな基地局BS3を増設する。
 この場合において、新しく設置した基地局BS3と既に稼働中の基地局BS1との間(符号2511)において適切に電波強度を設定することで、基地局BS3と基地局BS1との間の干渉を回避することができる。同様に、新しく設置した基地局BS3と既に稼働中の基地局BS2との間(符号2512)において適切に電波強度を設定することで、基地局BS2と基地局BS1との間の干渉を回避することができる。
 図26は、基地局間の干渉状態の測定を示す図である。図26において、図25に示した部分と同様の部分については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。図26に示すように、基地局BS1~BS3のそれぞれは、測定信号2611~2613を周囲に送信する。測定信号2611~2613は、たとえば基地局BS1~BS3において互いに既知の信号である。たとえば、測定信号2611~2613の信号系列は、DM-RSやRACHで使用されるCAZAC系列でもよいし、他の信号系列でもよい。
 基地局BS1~BS3は、たとえば、互いに順番に測定信号を送信し、測定信号を送信していない基地局は他の基地局からの測定信号を受信して干渉量を測定する。たとえば、基地局BS1,BS2,BS3,…の順に測定信号を送信する。具体的には、基地局BS1が測定信号2611を送信するタイミングでは、基地局BS2,BS3は、測定信号2611を受信することで基地局BS1から自局への干渉量を測定する。
 図27は、各中継局から基地局への干渉状態の報告信号の送信を示す図である。図27において、図25に示した部分と同様の部分については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。基地局BS1~BS3は、干渉状態の測定結果の報告信号2711~2713を互いに送受信する。たとえば基地局BS1~BS3の間で報告チャネルを定義し、定義した報告チャネルにより基地局BS1~BS3が報告信号2711~2713を送受信する。
 基地局BS1~BS3のそれぞれは、他の基地局から受信した報告信号に基づいて、自局の電波強度を設定する。たとえば、基地局BS1~BS3のそれぞれは、自局から他の基地局への干渉量が閾値を超えないように、自局の電波強度を設定する。このような基地局間の干渉状態の測定、報告信号の送受信および電波強度の設定を周期的に行うことで、基地局の増設などがあっても、電波強度を適応的に設定することができる。
 以上説明したように、基地局、中継局、通信システムおよび通信方法によれば、無線リソースを効率よく使用することができる。
 なお、上述した実施の形態においては、各中継局の互いの干渉量が閾値を超えるか否かによって同じリソースを割り当てるか否かを判断する場合について説明したが、同じリソースを割り当てるか否かの判断基準はこれに限らない。
 たとえば、基地局BSは、各中継局の各組み合わせのうち、互いの干渉量がより少ない組み合わせの各中継局に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てるようにしてもよい。これにより、互いの干渉量が比較的少ない各中継局に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当て、中継局間の干渉を抑えつつ、無線リソースを効率よく使用することができる。
 また、上述した実施の形態においては、各中継局が互いに干渉しない場合に、中継局と移動局との間(RN-UE間)の通信に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てる場合について説明した。これに対して、各中継局が互いに干渉しない場合に、基地局と中継局との間(BS-RN間)の通信に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てるようにしてもよい。
 また、上述した実施の形態においては、各中継局の互いの干渉状態として干渉量を測定する場合について説明したが、各中継局の互いの干渉状態としてはこれに限らない。たとえば、各中継局の互いの干渉状態として干渉の有無を測定し、干渉がない各中継局に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てるようにしてもよい。干渉の有無は、たとえば、測定信号を受信したか否かによって判断することができる。

Claims (18)

  1.  中継局を経由して移動局と無線通信を行う基地局において、
     複数の中継局の互いの干渉状態の測定結果を示す報告信号を受信する受信部と、
     前記受信部によって受信された報告信号に基づいて前記複数の中継局に無線リソースを割り当てる割当部と、
     前記割当部によって割り当てられた各無線リソースを示す割当信号を前記複数の中継局へそれぞれ送信する送信部と、
     を備えることを特徴とする基地局。
  2.  前記割当部は、互いの干渉量が閾値以下の各中継局に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の基地局。
  3.  前記割当部は、互いの干渉量が閾値以下の各中継局に対して優先的に通信品質の高い無線リソースを割り当てることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の基地局。
  4.  前記割当部は、互いに干渉量が閾値以下の各中継局のグループ化を行い、グループ化した各中継局に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てるとともに、グループ化される中継局の数が最も大きくなるように前記グループ化を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の基地局。
  5.  前記複数の中継局の各組み合わせのうち、互いの干渉量がより少ない組み合わせの各中継局に対して同じ無線リソースを割り当てることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の基地局。
  6.  基地局と移動局との間の無線通信を中継する中継局において、
     他の中継局から送信される測定信号に基づく干渉状態を測定する測定部と、
     前記測定部による測定結果を示す報告信号を前記基地局へ送信する送信部と、
     前記送信部によって送信された報告信号に基づき前記基地局によって割り当てられた無線リソースを用いて通信を行う通信部と、
     を備えることを特徴とする中継局。
  7.  自局から前記他の中継局への干渉状態を測定するための測定信号を前記他の中継局へ送信する測定信号送信部を備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の中継局。
  8.  前記測定信号送信部は、前記他の中継局から測定信号が送信されるタイミングとは異なる送信タイミングで前記測定信号を送信することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の中継局。
  9.  前記送信タイミングを示す情報を前記基地局から受信する受信部を備え、
     前記測定信号送信部は、前記受信部によって受信された情報が示す送信タイミングで前記測定信号を送信することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の中継局。
  10.  自局と前記他の中継局とを含む中継局の数を示す情報を前記基地局から受信する受信部を備え、
     前記測定信号送信部は、前記受信部によって受信された情報が示す数に基づいて前記送信タイミングを取得し、取得した送信タイミングで前記測定信号を送信することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の中継局。
  11.  前記他の中継局から送信される前記測定信号を受信する受信部を備え、
     前記測定部は、前記受信部によって受信された測定信号の干渉状態を測定することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の中継局。
  12.  前記受信部は、アップリンク帯域とダウンリンク帯域とにおける各測定信号を受信し、
     前記測定部は、前記アップリンク帯域と前記ダウンリンク帯域のそれぞれについて干渉状態を測定することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の中継局。
  13.  前記受信部は、アップリンク帯域とダウンリンク帯域のうちの周波数が高い方の帯域における各測定信号を受信し、
     前記測定部は、前記周波数が高い方の帯域について干渉状態を測定することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の中継局。
  14.  前記受信部は、前記他の中継局から送信されるRACH(Random Access Channel)信号を前記測定信号として受信することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の中継局。
  15.  基地局と移動局との間で中継局を経由して無線通信を行う通信システムにおいて、
     互いの干渉状態の測定結果を示す報告信号を送信する複数の中継局と、
     前記複数の中継局によって送信された各報告信号に基づいて前記複数の中継局に無線リソースを割り当てる基地局と、
     を含むことを特徴とする通信システム。
  16.  中継局を経由して移動局と無線通信を行う基地局の通信方法において、
     複数の中継局の互いの干渉状態の測定結果を示す報告信号を受信する受信工程と、
     前記受信工程によって受信された報告信号に基づいて前記複数の中継局に無線リソースを割り当てる割当工程と、
     前記割当工程によって割り当てられた各無線リソースを示す割当信号を前記複数の中継局へそれぞれ送信する送信工程と、
     を含むことを特徴とする通信方法。
  17.  基地局と移動局との間の無線通信を中継する中継局の通信方法において、
     他の中継局から送信される測定信号に基づく干渉状態を測定する測定工程と、
     前記測定工程による測定結果を示す報告信号を前記基地局へ送信する送信工程と、
     前記送信工程によって送信された報告信号に基づいて前記基地局によって割り当てられた無線リソースによって通信を行う通信工程と、
     を含むことを特徴とする通信方法。
  18.  基地局と移動局との間で中継局を経由して無線通信を行う通信システムの通信方法において、
     複数の中継局の互いの干渉状態を測定する測定工程と、
     前記測定工程によって測定された各干渉状態に基づいて前記複数の中継局に無線リソースを割り当てる割当工程と、
     を含むことを特徴とする通信方法。
