Abstract
본 발명은 백라이트 유닛용 콜레스테릭 반사판 등에 관한 것이다. 이러한 백라이트 유닛용 콜레스테릭 반사판, 도광판에서 방출된 광을 반사시키도록 백라이트 유닛에 구비된 반사판에 있어서, 상기 도광판에서 방출된 광이 수직 입사 및 랜덤 방향에서 소정의 경사각으로 입사되는 제1편광을 반사시키면서 제2편광은 투과시키는 제1콜레스테릭 액정층과, 상기 제1콜레스테릭 액정층을 투과한 제2편광을 반사시키는 제2콜레스테릭 액정층을 적층하되, 상기 제1콜레스테릭 액정층과 제2콜레스테릭 액정층의 파장대역은, 제1편광 및 제2편광을 모두 커버하여 실질적인 전반사를 유도하도록, 반사시키고자하는 임의 영역과 상기 임의 영역의 장파장으로부터 확장된 제1범위를 포함하는 것이다. 따라서, 본 발명은 반사판의 입사면을 향해 수직 방향 및 랜덤 방향에서 입사되는 모든 광의 전반사를 유도하여 반사효율을 제고시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다.
