Abstract

L'invention concerne une brique en braille destinée à un trottoir, qui est installée le long d'un chemin de guidage vers le passage piéton sur le trottoir, une ligne de réserve souterraine ou analogue pour offrir à une personne ayant une déficience visuelle des motifs en relief, et un système de brique en braille du type à émission de lumière à faible consommation d'énergie destiné à un trottoir, qui possède une fonction d'émission de lumière prédéfinie fonctionnant conjointement à un signal externe qui sert de signal pour faire fonctionnement un système externe tel que des feux de signalisation et des affichages d'information de voies souterraines, offrant ainsi des informations plus correctes et réduisant de manière significative la discrimination. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne un système de brique en braille du type à émission de lumière destiné à un trottoir, qui comprend: une unité de couplage physiquement couplée à un câble d'un système externe auquel un signal d'entraînement prédéfini est appliqué, et qui produit un signal de synchronisation couplé au signal d'entraînement; une brique de trottoir en braille qui comprend une source de lumière permettant aux éléments incorporés dans la brique d'émettre de la lumière, et possédant une surface sur laquelle des motifs en relief fabriqués à partir de matériaux destinés à laisser pénétrer la lumière afin que la lumière émise par la source de lumière puisse pénétrer, la brique de trottoir en braille étant installée sur le trottoir de sorte que ladite surface soit tournée vers l'extérieur; et une unité de commande renfermant une batterie, et qui est électriquement connectée à la source de lumière en vue d'appliquer de manière sélective l'énergie électrique chargée dans la batterie à la source de lumière en fonction du signal couplé susmentionné.
