Abstract
The mechanical safety device for blockage of vehicle's pedal is a device with which we wish to prevent theft of a vehicle in the way that we fully embrace a pedal (clutch, brake or accelerator) with the compact frame of the device, thus preventing its function and consequently disabling driving ability of the vehicle. The installed device is designed in such a way that because of its shape it clamps and leans on the body of the pedal with its upper side and to the floor (bottom) of the vehicle with its bottom side, thus preventing its movement in the direction of its operation. The device is composed of two major sets (A1) and (B2). When installing, we put the unlocked device onto the pedal of a vehicle (3), the device sits into the pedal chamber on set (A1), afterwards we twist the set (B2) around set (A1) and lock the pedal in preferred position, thus preventing its function.

MECHANICAL ANTI-THEFT SAFETY DEVICE FOR BLOCKAGE OF MOTOR
VEHICLE'S PEDAL
Field of invention
Mechanical protection of vehicles; constructional vehicle component.
Technical Problem
The technical problem, which is solved with the patent of invention, is installation of mechanical safety device only directly on a single pedal of a motor vehicle, ensuring full embrace of the pedal, electronic upgrading of the pedal as well as difficult access in case of forcible dismantling of the safety device.
State of the Art
Some mechanical anti-theft safety device solutions are present on the market, none of which provide full embrace of the pedal, electronic upgrade of the safety device or ensure difficult access in attempt of forcible dismantling of the safety device. Such examples are mechanical safety device for locking of pedal and steering wheel, mechanical safety device for locking of steering wheel and mechanical safety device for locking of gearshift lever.
• The common feature of all the solutions mentioned in the previous paragraph is either relatively simple access and dismantling due to incompact and simple structure, or intervention into the vital parts (gearbox) of the motor vehicle when installing the mechanical safety device. The offered solution with its compact and complex - multi-layer structure, unique shape and installation process ensures:
• difficult access and little manoeuvre space for forcible removal of the safety device,
• no intervention into the vital parts of the motor vehicle when installing the safety device,
• embracing of the whole pedal of the motor vehicle, thus disabling its function and the motor vehicle's driving performance,
• warning about installed safety device with light signal (signalling led light),
• electronic upgrade of the mechanical safety system (the patent applicant has already elaborated a possibility for upgrading the safety device with an existing electronic device, which would warn the owner of the motor vehicle in case of an attempt of forcible entry into the safety device by sending an SMS to the owner's mobile phone).
Description of New Invention
The mentioned technical problem is resolved by the mechanical anti-theft safety device for blockage of a vehicle's pedal, which enables mechanical protection of a motor vehicle.
The essence of the invention is in its structure, which enables simple installation of the safety device onto the pedal (clutch, brake or accelerator) and ensures a high level of security with its compact and complex structure in case of an attempt of forcible dismantling of the safety device installed on the pedal. The mentioned technical solution provided by the device practically disables handling of a vehicle without removal of the safety device.

The operation of the patent of invention is described below with description of figures which form part of the description.
The device is composed of two sets A 1 and B 2. When installing the device onto the pedal 3, both sets need to be in the position shown in Figure 1, the groove for the pedal 3 on set A 1 has to be in line with the groove for pedal 3 on set B 2 (the device is open and unlocked).
The whole safety device (sets A 1 and B 2) is installed onto the pedal (Figure 2), set B 2 is then twisted around set a 1 into the position shown in Figure 3. The pedal is fully embraced, which means that its movement function is disabled. In this position we prevent twisting of set B 2 around set A 1 by locking of set B 2 with lock (the device is installed and locked).
Set A 2 (Figure 4) is composed of the pedal chamber 5, which is made from compact artificial material. Two plate spacers 7, with which the width of the pedal chamber 3 is regulated (Figure 4), are tightened with the screw 6 on the inside of the pedal chamber, thus resolving the problem of installation of device onto different shapes and widths of pedals of various vehicles. On the bottom side of the component 5 a groove guide 8 is carved, through which the blocking bolt 14 runs in the phase of locking the pedal 3. Grooves 9 and 10 for locking set of the lock 36 and hole with thread 11 for joining device — screw 47 are also carved.
Set B 2 (Figures 8, 9) is composed of sub-set of set B 12, locking set 16 and additional safety locking set 17 with lid 18.
The sub-set of set B 12 (Figure 10) is composed of tube 13 and blocking bolt 14.
Tube 13 has a cut-out 19 in the shape of pedal 3 (Figures 1, 2, 3 and 10), round opening for key 20, hole 21 for warning signalling led light 63 (Figure 16), holes with threads 22, 23, 24, 25 through which the locking set is tightened (Figures 8, 9, 11, 12, 13) and holes with threads 26 and 27 through which the additional safety locking set 17 (Figures 8, 9) is tightened with screws. The blocking bolt prevents twisting of set B 2 around set A 1 (Figures 6, 7).
The locking set 16 (Figures 11, 12, 13, 14) is composed of the component made from compact artificial material 35 and on which one can find groove 28 for lock 36, hole with thread 29 in which a screw of the lock 37 is tightened, holes with threads 30, 31, 32, 33 for individual sets of screws 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45, as well as centre hole with thread 34 for centre screw 46 and joining device - screw 47 (Figure 15).
Sets of screws 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45 ensure that the locking set 16 is permanently fixed to tube 13 of set B' s sub-set 12, functioning together as locking set of the device.
The centre screw serves as an additional guard against unscrewing of internal sets of screws 38, 39, 40, 41, which are invisible from the outside and which can only be unscrewed in a specific order. Screws 42, 43, 44, 45 must be unscrewed first to release the pressure from centre screw 46, then the whole additional safety locking set 17 with lid 18 would have to be removed in order to unscrew the centre screw 46, only after that screws 38, 39, 40, 41 should be unscrewed to loosen the joint between sub-set of set B 12 and locking set 16.
Even if all screws (the screws on the device are additionally protected) were to be unscrewed, which would take an extensive amount of time (due to difficult access), the whole set B 2 could still not be unscrewed from set A 1, had the lock not been unlocked and the key taken out of the device.
The device could still not be fully dismantled, because it is mounted onto the pedal 3 from the top and clamped into vehicle's floor 4 with the bottom side (Figure 3)
preventing the possibility of free unscrewing of set B 2 from set A 1. The pedal is therefore still fully embraced by the device and its function consequently disabled.
Set A 1 and set B 2 are connected with joining device — screw 47.
Additional safety locking set 17 (Figures 8, 9, 16, 17 and 18) is composed of compact artificial material 48 and on which one can find groove 57 for warning signalling led light 63, holes with threads 55 in 56 for individual set of screws 62, 50, 51 and 52, as well as holes with threads 58 and 59, through which the additional safety locking set 17 with lid 18 is tightened.
Lid 18 (Figures 8, 9, 16 and 17) is composed of compact artificial material 52 and in which one can find holes 60 and 61 for screws 53 and 54.
Sets of screws 62, 49, 50 and 51 ensure that the locking set 17 is together with the lid 18 permanently fixed to tube 13 of set B 's sub set. (Figure 18), functioning together as an additional locking mechanism, as well as the mount for warning instruments (signalling warning led light or optional warning system which sends an SMS to user's mobile phone in case of forcible dismantlement of the device).
The mechanical safety device as patent of invention has at least one plate spacer 7, which is fixed with screw 6 to the side of the inner side of pedal chamber 5 of set A 1, thus resolving the problem of installation of device onto different shapes and widths of pedals of various vehicles.
The mechanical safety device as an invention is due to its unique shape very easy to install (as well as uninstall) onto a pedal of a vehicle for protection against theft and the device itself does not intervene into the vital parts of a motor vehicle.
The mechanical device as an invention has a fixed electronic upgrade of the mechanical protection system, which in case of an attempt of forcible intervention into the device
warns the owner of the motor vehicle, primarily by sending an SMS to his/her mobile phone.
