Abstract

L'invention porte sur un ensemble pour électroencéphalographe (EEG), qui peut être perçu comme étant un « EEG dans un sac » (« EEG-IAB »). L'ensemble pour EEG peut constituer une plate-forme complète, jetable, rapide et facile à utiliser pour enregistrer un EEG pour mesurer l'activité du cerveau. D'autres informations physiologiques (par exemple la saturation en oxygène, un électrocardiogramme ECG ou un EKG, etc.) ou d'autres informations (par exemple un mouvement d'électrode locale) peuvent également être enregistrées, de façon à être en concordance de temps avec les signaux d'EEG enregistrés. L'EEG enregistré et les autres informations peuvent être téléchargés à une interface utilisateur locale ou à distance. Un neurologiste local ou à distance peut utiliser les informations d'EEG pour établir un diagnostic en quelques dizaines de minutes, de telles informations pouvant être, actuellement, non disponibles ou pouvant nécessiter un certain nombre d'heures pour être obtenues et diagnostiquées. L'ensemble pour EEG peut être très commode et peut être utilisé dans un service d'urgence (ED) d'hôpital, dans une unité de soins intensifs (ICU), par un premier intervenant, ou peut être déployé pour une préparation d'urgence ou de catastrophe.
