La présente invention concerne un ouvre-bouteille qui comprend un corps (1) de forme sensiblement tubulaire lequel se prolonge au niveau de son extrémité postérieure en un manche (15) et présente au niveau de son extrémité antérieure: une ouverture frontale (11) pour l'introduction latérale de la tête (21) du bouchon (2), une paroi supérieure (12) d'impact et de retenue du bouchon (2) de la bouteille (3) au moment de sa sortie, et présente au niveau de sa partie inférieure, une ouverture longitudinale (13) délimitée par deux bords latéraux (14) opposés, servant à recevoir latéralement la partie du corps du bouchon (2) située entre la tête (21) du bouchon et l'ouverture (31) de la bouteille (3), le basculement de l'ouvre-bouteille en direction de la partie inférieure déterminant la libération du bouchon (21) par rapport au corps de la bouteille (3).
