Abstract

단말에 대한 MIMO 모드를 효율적으로 변경할 수 있는 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 MIMO 모드 변경 장치는 단말의 현재 MIMO 모드를 판단하는 MIMO 모드 판단부; 상기 MIMO 모드 판단부에 의해 상기 단말의 현재 MIMO 모드가 복수개의 안테나를 통해 동일한 데이터를 전송하는 제1 MIMO 모드로 판단되면 상기 단말의 제1 MIMO 모드에서의 제1 유지시간을 판단하고, 상기 MIMO 모드 판단부에 의해 상기 단말의 현재 MIMO 모드가 각 안테나 별로 다른 데이터를 전송하는 제2 MIMO 모드로 판단되면 상기 단말의 제2 MIMO 모드에서의 제2 유지시간을 판단하는 유지시간 판단부; 및 상기 제1 유지시간이 제1 임계 유지시간 이상이면 상기 단말의 MIMO 모드를 제2 MIMO 모드로 변경하는 MIMO 모드 변경부를 포함한다.
