Description
INTEGRACIÓN DE CARENA DE AERONAVE
CAMPO DE LA INVENCIÓN
La presente invención se refiere a una estructura para el acoplamiento de Ia carena de una aeronave, en particular para el acoplamiento de Ia carena de aeronave que va situada entre el estabilizador horizontal y el estabilizador vertical o sección de fuselaje.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN
Los elementos estructurales principales de una aeronave son: el fuselaje central, los motores, que proporcionan el empuje necesario a Ia aeronave, el ala, que proporciona sustentación, y el estabilizador horizontal y el estabilizador vertical, que se emplean para el gobierno de Ia aeronave. Para minimizar el impacto aerodinámico de las superficies exteriores de los principales elementos estructurales anteriores, se emplean superficies auxiliares que tapan los elementos de unión con Ia aeronave de las citadas estructuras principales, al tiempo que estas superficies exteriores suavizan las secciones, reduciendo así Ia resistencia aerodinámica de dichas superficies en las diferentes posiciones de vuelo. Se ha de tener en cuenta además que, para el caso particular del estabilizador horizontal, este estabilizador ha de poder girar con respecto a los ejes del avión, en Ia mayoría de las aeronaves.
Las citadas superficies exteriores se conocen comúnmente con el nombre de carenas, debiendo dichas carenas, al ser superficies auxiliares, adaptarse a los elementos estructurales primarios de Ia aeronave, incluyendo las posibles variaciones que dichos elementos puedan tener en sus dimensiones finales, originadas por tolerancias. Así pues, además de los requerimientos de cargas dinámicas y estáticas, el sistema de unión entre Ia carena y Ia estructura primaria debe ser regulable.
Otro de los requerimientos de las carenas es el de intercambiabilidad: al tratarse de superficies auxiliares que camuflan uniones de responsabilidad,
estas carenas han de ser desmontables en las labores típicas de mantenimiento de Ia aeronave, siendo éste un requerimiento crítico, pues Ia manipulación de las carenas influye repetidamente en el tiempo necesario para el mantenimiento. Habitualmente, Ia unión de Ia carena entre el estabilizador vertical o sección de fuselaje y el estabilizador horizontal se realiza mediante un sistema de herrajes metálicos discretos unidos al revestimiento del estabilizador horizontal. Esta unión comprende una placa serrada fija al revestimiento del estabilizador horizontal mediante unos espárragos especiales roscados por ambos lados (denominados stud pins) y mediante unos herrajes desmontables en forma de angular serrados en Ia misma dirección de Ia placa y que copian Ia superficie geométrica de Ia carena. A su vez, Ia carena se sujeta a los herrajes en angular mediante tornillos que se unen a tuercas auto-instaladas fijadas al herraje que permiten el montaje de Ia carena por un único lado de acceso. La unión convencional empleada presenta varios problemas. Por un lado, el peso que añaden los diferentes elementos mecánicos de unión y reglaje de las carenas es importante; por otro lado, existe un elevado coste de estos elementos tan específicos (serrados específicos, por ejemplo); además, el montaje y mantenimiento del sistema anterior de fijación de carenas es muy complejo. Más aún, los sistemas convencionales empleados no permiten Ia regulación de Ia parte superior e inferior de cada propia carena Io que impide corregir favorablemente las tolerancias producidas en su fabricación (las carenas comprenden partes superior e inferior, respectivamente, en sus uniones a las partes superior e inferior del fuselaje). La presente invención ofrece una solución a los problemas anteriormente mencionados.
SUMARIO DE LA INVENCIÓN
Así, Ia presente invención se refiere a una estructura para el acoplamiento de Ia carena de una aeronave, en particular para el acoplamiento
de Ia carena de aeronave que va situada entre el estabilizador horizontal y el estabilizador vertical o sección de fuselaje, tal que dicha estructura permite el ensamblaje de Ia carena reduciendo el número de elementos mecánicos para su reglaje y reduciendo considerablemente el peso de Ia citada estructura de integración. Así, en Ia estructura para el acoplamiento de Ia carena según Ia invención, Ia citada carena está unida rígidamente al estabilizador horizontal, estando a su vez apoyada sobre el estabilizador vertical o sección de fuselaje, siendo su función principal Ia de minimizar el impacto aerodinámico entre Ia unión de ambas citadas superficies. Según Ia invención, Ia estructura para el acoplamiento de Ia carena que va situada entre el estabilizador horizontal y el estabilizador vertical o sección de fuselaje comprende unos herrajes metálicos en forma de angulares, comprendiendo dichos herrajes una superficie vertical y una superficie horizontal, con respecto a los ejes de Ia aeronave, tal que los citados herrajes se unen, a través de Ia superficie horizontal, mediante elementos de unión fijos no desmontables, al revestimiento del estabilizador horizontal, comprendiendo además dicha estructura unos elementos elásticos deformables a través de los cuales, y mediante el uso de elementos de fijación, las carenas se unen a Ia superficie vertical de los herrajes metálicos anteriores. La nueva estructura de integración de carenas de Ia invención resuelve el problema del reglaje de Ia carena sin necesidad de utilizar placas serradas y sin necesidad de serrar los herrajes en angular, manteniendo Ia eficiencia estructural del conjunto y simplificando el diseño, Ia fabricación y el montaje de los componentes anteriores, con el consiguiente ahorro final de recursos económicos.
Otras características y ventajas de Ia presente invención se desprenderán de Ia descripción detallada que sigue de una realización ilustrativa de su objeto en relación con las figuras que se acompañan.

Las Figuras 4a y 4b muestran Ia capacidad de regulación entre Ia partes superior e inferior de Ia carena con Ia estructura de acoplamiento de carenas según Ia invención, en situaciones particulares de montaje de dicha estructura.
DESCRIPCIÓN DETALLADA DE LA INVENCIÓN
Según se muestra en Ia Figura 1 , las carenas superior e inferior, 3 y 4, se unen por un lado al revestimiento de Ia superficie sustentadora horizontal 5 en cuestión y, por otro lado, al fuselaje o superficie sustentadora vertical 6 de Ia aeronave.
Según Ia técnica conocida, como se describe en Ia Figura 2, Ia unión de Ia carena 7 (ya sea Ia carena superior 3 o Ia inferior 4) al revestimiento 1 del estabilizador horizontal de una aeronave se realiza mediante un sistema de herrajes metálicos 2 discretos unidos al citado revestimiento 1 del estabilizador horizontal. En concreto, Ia citada unión comprende una placa serrada 8 (normalmente en dirección transversal del avión) fijada al revestimiento 1 del estabilizador horizontal a través de espárragos roscados 9 (stud pins) y a través de herrajes 2 en forma de angular serrados en Ia misma dirección de Ia placa 8 y que copian Ia superficie geométrica de Ia carena 7. La carena 7 se sujeta al herraje 2 mediante uniones atornilladas (no mostradas) que se unen a tuercas auto-instaladas fijadas a los herrajes 2, y que permiten el montaje de Ia carena 7 por un único lado de acceso.
Como también se muestra en Ia Figura 2, los herrajes 2 se unen solidariamente al revestimiento 1 del estabilizador horizontal mediante una tuerca 10 y uno de los lados del espárrago roscado 9. Por Ia propia geometría de estos espárragos roscados 9, tanto el herraje 2 como Ia placa serrada 8 deben comprender unos cajeados para permitir su instalación. Dichos cajeados son críticos desde el punto de vista del dimensionamiento del herraje 2.
La necesidad del serrado en Ia placa 8 se debe a Ia necesidad de regulación de Ia carena 7 en su acoplamiento en Ia dirección normal al serrado. Para permitir el desplazamiento del herraje 2, los agujeros de unión de dicho herraje 2 al revestimiento 1 del estabilizador horizontal son rasgados en forma de hipódromo en Ia dirección normal al serrado. El resto de tolerancias de posicionamiento en los dos ejes perpendiculares al desplazamiento o reglaje 11 de Ia Figura 2 son absorbidas agrandando el diámetro de los agujeros en el herraje con el fin de permitir un pequeño juego. Según Ia invención, como se puede observar en Ia Figura 3, Ia carena 7 está unida al herraje 2 mediante unos elementos de fijación 12, preferiblemente tornillos, al igual que en el sistema convencional, estando comprendida entre Ia carena 7 y el herraje 2 un elemento elástico 13 deformable, particularmente un elastómero. El elemento elástico 13 puede mantenerse elástico durante toda su vida operativa o cristalizar tras un proceso de maduración apropiado tras realizar el ensamblaje del mismo entre Ia carena 7 y el herraje 2, minimizándose, en este último caso, los ajustes necesarios después del desmontaje de Ia carena 7 cuando se retiran para operaciones de mantenimiento. A su vez, el herraje 2 en angular se une al revestimiento 1 del estabilizador horizontal mediante uniones mecánicas 14 no desmontables, preferiblemente uniones remachadas.
Así pues, el nuevo concepto resuelve el problema del reglaje de Ia carena 7 sin necesidad de utilizar placas 8 serradas y sin necesidad de serrar los herrajes 2, manteniendo Ia eficiencia estructural del conjunto y simplificando el diseño, fabricación y montaje de los componentes con el consiguiente ahorro final de recursos económicos.
Según otro aspecto de Ia invención, es relevante indicar que Ia estructura de Ia invención proporciona una nueva capacidad de regulación entre Ia parte superior e inferior de Ia carena 7 (carena superior 3 e inferior 4) con el estabilizador vertical o sección de fuselaje 6 a través del perfil de sellado 15. Las pequeñas diferencias de deformaciones del elemento elástico 13 en su amarre con los herrajes 2 se amplifican en Ia zona de sellado, tal que, aproximadamente, 1 mm de cuña en Ia zona de soporte, amplifican 4mm a 200mm, y 10mm a 500mm, según se muestra en las Figuras 4a y 4b. Esto implica una disminución del espesor del elemento elástico 13 de sellado necesaria para el acoplamiento entre Ia carena 7 y Ia superficie del estabilizador vertical o sección de fuselaje 6.
En resumen, el sistema de reglaje del acoplamiento de carena según Ia invención aparece reflejado en Ia Figura 3, en Ia cual se representa una situación nominal, y en las Figuras 4a y 4b, donde se representan situaciones particulares de montaje como fruto de diferentes pares de apriete de los elementos de fijación 12 que unen Ia carena 7 con los herrajes 2.
Además, al sustituir Ia placa 8 serrada por un elemento elástico 13 situado entre el herraje 2 y Ia carena 7, Ia unión entre el herraje 2 y el revestimiento 1 se realiza según Ia invención por medio de remaches ciegos 14 sin necesidad de elementos intermedios (placas 8 serradas) para Ia transmisión de cargas de cortadura al revestimiento 1. Los espárragos roscados 9 son elementos de unión mecánica especiales y bastante mas caros y más difíciles de aprovisionar que los remaches ciegos 14. No obstante, puede ser conveniente emplear estos espárragos roscados 9 (stud pins), cuando Ia accesibilidad interior es buena, por ejemplo en un tanque de combustible.
Otra de las importantes ventajas de Ia invención reside en que Ia simplificación de los elementos de unión utilizados, así como Ia sustitución de Ia placa 8 serrada por un elemento elástico 13 entre el herraje 2 y Ia carena 7 conllevan una importante reducción de peso. En contraposición, será necesario un estudio de los diferentes pares de apriete entre carena 7 y herrajes 2 que permitan el juego de deformaciones
necesario para absorber las tolerancias de fabricación y montaje de ambos elementos, herrajes 2 y carena 7.
En resumen, coste, tiempo de montaje, mantenimiento y peso son reducidos con Ia nueva estructura de Ia invención.
En las realizaciones preferentes que acabamos de describir pueden introducirse aquellas modificaciones comprendidas dentro del alcance definido por las siguientes reivindicaciones.

Estructura para el acoplamiento de Ia carena (7) de una aeronave, estando dicha carena (7) situada entre Ia superficie sustentadora horizontal 5 y el estabilizador vertical o sección de fuselaje (6) de dicha aeronave, comprendiendo dicha estructura unos herrajes (2) en forma de angulares, comprendiendo a su vez dichos herrajes una superficie vertical y una superficie horizontal, caracterizada porque los herrajes (2) se unen a través de su superficie vertical a Ia carena (7) mediante unos elementos de fijación (12) desmontables, comprendiendo además dicha estructura entre Ia carena (7) y Ia superficie vertical del herraje (2) un elemento elástico (13) deformable, tal que dicho elemento elástico (13) es capaz de absorber el juego de deformaciones necesario y las tolerancias de fabricación y montaje de los herrajes (2), de Ia carena (7), del estabilizador horizontal y del estabilizador vertical o sección de fuselaje (6) mediante diferentes pares de apriete de los elementos anteriores.

Estructura para el acoplamiento de Ia carena (7) de una aeronave según Ia reivindicación 1 , caracterizada porque Ia estructura es capaz de ser regulada entre Ia parte superior e inferior de Ia carena (7), amplificándose las diferencias de deformaciones del elemento elástico (13) en su amarre con los herrajes (2) en Ia zona de sellado, disminuyéndose así el diámetro del elemento elástico (13) necesario y facilitando considerablemente su acoplamiento. 3. Estructura para el acoplamiento de Ia carena (7) de una aeronave según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizada porque el elemento elástico (13) mantiene su elasticidad permitiendo su acoplamiento entre Ia carena (7) y el herraje (2) con independencia del avión montado. 4τ Estructura para el acoplamiento de Ia carena (7) de una aeronave según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 -2, caracterizada porque el elemento
elástico (13) es cristalizado tras un proceso de maduración apropiado, una vez que se realiza el ensamblaje de dicho elemento (13) entre Ia carena (7) y el herraje (2).

Estructura para el acoplamiento de Ia carena (7) de una aeronave según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizada porque Ia unión entre el herraje (2) y el revestimiento (1 ) del estabilizador horizontal se realiza por medio de remaches ciegos (14), que realizan Ia transmisión de cargas de cortadura provenientes de Ia carena (7) al citado revestimiento (1 ). 6. Estructura para el acoplamiento de Ia carena (7) de una aeronave según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 -4, caracterizada porque Ia unión entre el herraje (2) y el revestimiento (1 ) del estabilizador horizontal se realiza por medio de espárragos roscados (9), en el caso de que Ia accesibilidad interior al revestimiento (1 ) del estabilizador horizontal sea adecuada, como en el caso de un tanque de combustible.
