Abstract

In order to further develop wastewater pipes having fresh water guide devices for transferring thermal energy between wastewater and fresh water such that the thermal energy can be transferred more effectively between the wastewater and the fresh water, the invention proposes a wastewater pipe (2) having a fresh water guide device (3) for transferring thermal energy between the wastewater and fresh water, wherein the wastewater pipe and the fresh water guide device have a common separating wall (12), wherein the fresh water is guided steadily counter to a wastewater flow direction (8) of the wastewater from a fresh water supply (9) to a fresh water drain (10), and wherein the wastewater pipe is characterized by means (14) for deflecting the fresh water transversely to the wastewater flow direction, whereby the fresh water is also guided transversely to the wastewater flow direction with a main counter flow direction. This leads to a meandering or helical course of the main flow direction around the wastewater flow direction.
