Abstract
The invention relates to a fuel cell system (1) comprising at least one fuel cell (2) having an anode chamber (3) and a cathode chamber (4). A recirculation line (7) is provided, through which exhaust gas from the anode chamber (3) can be returned to an area ahead of the anode chamber (3). At least one means for discharging media is provided in the area of the recirculation line (7) and/or the anode chamber (3). According to the invention, the at least one means is designed as a valve device (13) comprising a switchable flow path (19) and an overflow path (21).
