Abstract

The invention relates to manual shears for plastic tubes, formed by a hollow body consisting of two half-jaws extending into two half-arms and connected by screws, with a blade being disposed therebetween. A sector of the edge of the blade is serrated so that the shears can be closed using an intermittent movement. The invention is characterized in that the rotation shaft (5) of the blade comprises a removable pin and the blade is connected to the hollow body by means of a spring (19) housed in a groove (20) in one of the jaws (1). One end of the spring is attached to the hollow body by means of a lug (21), while the other end thereof is provided with an elongate ring which receives a projection (23) of the blade. In this way, the blade can be replaced very quickly and easily simply by removing the above-mentioned removable pin and pulling the blade in order to detach same.
