Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung für einen photochemischen, wie photokatalytischen und/oder photosynthetischen Prozess, insbesondere für eine Zucht und Produktion bzw. Hydrokultivierung von, vorzugsweise phototrophen, Mikroorganismen. Ein Reaktor, insbesondere ein Bioreaktor, ist vorgesehen und ein Reaktionsmedium, beispielsweise eine wässerige Lösung oder eine Suspension, ist mäanderförmig in dem Reaktor geführt. Der vom Reaktionsmedium (6) durchflossene Reaktor besteht aus mindestens einem, aus zwei senkrecht oder in einem Winkel geneigten, unten verbundenen, Röhren (3) bzw. Kammern (8) gebildeten, Reaktorelement (2). Sowohl eine Einbringung als auch eine Ausbringung des Reaktionsmediums (6) in bzw. aus dem Reaktor erfolgt, vorzugsweise kontinuierlich, drucklos und frei zur Atmosphäre über die obere Reaktionsmediums-Oberfläche. Auf Grund des hydrostatischen Druck- und Niveauausgleich ist eine für die Mikroorganismen stressfreie Strömung des Reaktionsmediums (6) gegeben. Der Reaktor mit seinen, vorzugsweise aus transparenten oder transluzenten Material bestehenden, Röhren (3) bzw. Kammern (8) ist in einer Licht leitenden Flüssigkeit (14) angeordnet.
