  • the apertures 72 and 32 defined by the extension 70 and the arm 28 of the bracket 26 receive the shank 34 simultaneously, rendering the bracket 26 attachable to the extension 70 of the channel 20.
  • the channel 20 has raised sides 76 and defines apertures 78 for receiving an anti-sliding pin 80 that are frictionally engagable with at least a part of the elongate portion 16 of the closing mechanism 14.
  • the frictional engagement serves to minimise movement of the locking device 10 along the long axis 24 of the elongate member 16 whilst in locked position.
  • the second closed end 68 of the channel 20 includes a hook 22.
  • the hook 22 is engagable with the end zone 18 of the closing mechanism 14 of the container. When in engaged position the hook 22 discourages the rotation of the closing mechanism 14 around its long axis 24. It is to be appreciated from the specification that the bracket 26 can be rotated around a long axis 45 of the shank 34, thereby providing for optimal positioning of the bracket 26 and to provide further frictional engagement with the closing mechanism 14 of the container.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de verrouillage pour un récipient, ledit dispositif de verrouillage comprenant un moyen de fixation permettant de fixer de manière amovible le dispositif de verrouillage sur une partie d'un mécanisme de fermeture du récipient, le mécanisme de fermeture comprenant une partie sensiblement allongée et au moins une zone d'extrémité; un canal permettant de recevoir au moins une partie de la partie sensiblement allongée du mécanisme de fermeture du récipient; et un crochet destiné à coopérer avec la zone d'extrémité du mécanisme de fermeture du récipient, le crochet étant formé et dimensionné pour empêcher la rotation autour d'un axe long de la partie allongée du mécanisme de fermeture du récipient.
