Abstract

Moteur rotatif comprenant un stator circulaire (10), un rotor circulaire (12) en rotation autour du stator, le rotor et le stator étant séparés par un cylindre circulaire (14), et au moins un élément à 2 flasques (24, 26). Le rotor comprend 2 pistons de compression (16, 18) fixés à la surface intérieure du rotor, ces 2 pistons étant situés aux 2 extrémités d'un premier diamètre du rotor et maintenus sensiblement en contact avec la surface extérieure du stator. Le stator comprend un évidement (42, 44) à chacune des extrémités d'un diamètre, chaque évidement formant une chambre de compression avec le piston de compression arrivé à la fin de l' évidement dans le sens de rotation du rotor et un des flasques de l'élément à 2 flasques dit flasque culasse (34), l'effort moteur étant appliqué au piston de compression lorsque la pression des gaz à l'intérieur de la chambre de compression est portée subitement à une valeur déterminée.
