Abstract

The invention relates to an insulating element for covering a conductive contact element of an electrical installation appliance, the conductive contact element being arranged behind an opening in the housing of the electrical installation appliance, and the insulating element (1) comprising a snap or catch device (2) for engaging in the rear of at least one region of the conductive contact element (10) and for fixing the insulating element (1) to the conductive contact element (10). The invention also relates to a conductive contact element of a terminal of an electrical installation appliance, the conductive contact element (10) being arranged behind an opening in the housing of the electrical installation appliance and comprising at least one gap (11) for feeding through a catch or snap device (2) of such an insulating element (1).
