Abstract
The invention relates to a power plant (1, 1') operating particularly efficiently, even in case of severely variable input power for converting mechanical primary energy into another form of energy in a power plant, comprising: - a power transmission element (2) for receiving and transmitting mechanical energy; a control system having a hydraulic control unit (7) for adjusting a power transmission characteristic of the power transmission element (2).
