(第1実施形態)
 以下、本発明の第1実施形態を図面を用いて詳しく説明する。図1ないし図3は同実施形態に係るパンチング装置10を示している。このパンチング装置10は、下部側が筐体下部11Aで構成され、上部側が筐体上部11Bで構成された矩形状の筐体部11と、筐体下部11A内に設けられた下金型12と、筐体上部11Bに設けられ下金型12に対して進退可能な上金型13とからなる穿孔用金型と、筐体部11の後方から下金型12の上面に向かって進退可能に設置されたワーク把持部14と、筐体下部11Aを左右(図1に示した状態での左右)に貫通して形成された回収機構15とを備えている。筐体部11は、高さよりも左右方向の長さがやや長く、前後方向(図2および図3に示した状態での左右方向)の長さが高さよりも短くなった略箱状に形成されており、各面が鋼板で構成されている。
 筐体部11の前面部11aと後面部11bとは左右の側面部11c,11dよりも肉厚に形成されており、側面部11c,11dに厚みが12mm程度の鋼板が用いられているのに対し、前面部11aと後面部11bとには厚みが25mm程度の鋼板が用いられている。また、筐体部11の内部における上下方向の中央部には、板状の台部16が前面部11a、後面部11bおよび側面部11c,11dの内面に沿って水平に設けられている。この台部16の左右方向の中央部には、上下に貫通する穴部16aが形成されており、台部16の上面における穴部16aの周縁部に、下金型12が設置されている。筐体部11におけるこの台部16よりも下部側の部分(台部16を含む)で、筐体下部11Aが構成され、筐体部11における台部16よりも上部側の部分で、筐体上部11Bが構成される。
 また、筐体上部11Bの内部における台部16の上方(台部16と筐体部11の上面部11eとの中間部分)には、板状の支持部17が前面部11a、後面部11bおよび側面部11c,11dの内面に沿って水平に設けられている。この支持部17の左右方向の中央部には、上下に貫通する穴部17aが形成されており、この穴部17aの周縁部に、上金型13を昇降させる昇降機構18が設置されている。また、側面部11c,11dにおける台部16の下部側の部分(側面部11c,11dにおける台部16の下面位置から、台部16と側面部11c,11dの下端部との中間位置にかけての部分)に、それぞれ四角形の開口部19が対向して形成されている。
 そして、一対の開口部19を介して、筐体下部11Aの左側の外部から筐体下部11A内を通り、筐体下部11Aの右側の外部にかけて回収機構15が設置されている。また、前面部11aと後面部11bとにおける台部16の上面に対応する部分と、支持部17の下面に対応する部分との間の左右方向の中央部分には、下部側の幅が上部側の幅よりも広くなった窓部19aが形成されている。この窓部19aによって、前方から下金型12と上金型13とを目視することができるとともに、後方から筐体部11の内部にワーク把持部14を進退させることができる。
 下金型12は、上面から下面に貫通する本発明に係る穿孔用貫通孔としてのダイ穴12aが形成された枠状の金型で構成されており、ダイ穴12aを穴部16aに合わせて台部16上に設置されている。上金型13は、下端部が、下金型12のダイ穴12aに嵌合可能な穿孔用のパンチ13aで構成されており、下金型12の上面にワークWを位置させた状態でパンチ13aをダイ穴12aに嵌合させることにより、ワークWの被穿孔部をダイ穴12aとパンチ13aとの形状に打ち抜く。上金型13は、昇降機構18の下端部に取り付けられ、昇降機構18の作動により昇降する。
 昇降機構18は、支持部17の穴部17aから、筐体上部11Bの上面部11eを貫通して外部まで延びている。すなわち、上面部11eにおける穴部17aの上方に位置する部分には取付用の穴部が形成されており、昇降機構18の本体部分は、穴部17aの周縁部と、上面部11eの穴部の周縁部とによって支持されている。そして、昇降機構18の本体部分の上端部から後方に向ってカバー部材で覆われた駆動力伝達部18aが延びており、駆動力伝達部18aの後端下面に駆動モータ18bが設置されている。駆動モータ18bの駆動力は、駆動力伝達部18aによって昇降機構18の本体部分に伝達され、上金型13を昇降させる。
 ワーク把持部14は、筐体部11の後方に配置されたテーブル14a上に設置され、図示せぬX軸移動機構,Y軸移動機構、Z軸移動機構およびθ軸移動機構によって、それぞれX軸方向(図1における左右方向で矢印aの方向)、Y軸方向(図2における左右方向で矢印bの方向)、Z軸(上下方向で図1の矢印cの方向)、θ軸方向(X軸方向、Y軸方向にそれぞれ直交する垂直軸周りの方向)に移動可能になっている。このワーク把持部14は、平行して配置された状態で互いに離間できる一対のレール部を備えた枠状支持部と、一対のレール部に移動可能に設置されシート状または板状のワークWの四隅を把持することのできる4個の把持部とを備えている。
 そして、一対のレール部および4個の把持部はそれぞれ駆動部の作動により移動することにより、各把持部間の間隔を広げたり狭めたりすることができ、ワークWの幅に応じて4個の把持部の間隔を調整できるように構成されている。このため、ワークWが可撓性を備えたシート状のものである場合には、テンションを掛けた状態で、ワークWが硬質の板状のものである場合には、そのままの状態でワークを固定することができる。そして、ワーク把持部14は、固定したワークWを種々の方向に移動させることができる。
 回収機構15は、図4に示したように、筐体部11の側面部11c,11dにおける筐体下部11Aの部分に形成された一対の開口部19を介して、筐体下部11Aの一方の外部から筐体下部11A内を通過して筐体下部11Aの他方の外部に延びる搬送コンベア15a(本発明に係る収容部搬送部)と、搬送コンベア15aによって断続的に搬送される複数の収容部15b(本発明に係る製品用収容部)とで構成されている。搬送コンベア15aは、複数のローラを備えたローラコンベアからなり、駆動装置の作動によりローラを回転させることによって、例えば、複数の収容部15bを、図4の左側から右側に搬送し、所定の収容部15bを台部16の穴部16aの下方に位置させたときに一旦停止する。
 そして、収容部15b内に所定個数の製品部(図示せず)が収容されるタイミング(穿孔加工の回数)に合わせて複数の収容部15bを各収容部15bの間隔分搬送する。収容部15bは、矩形のブロック体の中央にワークWから穿孔された製品部を収容するための凹部が上面から下面近傍まで形成された略筒状の構造をしている。このため、穿孔されて下金型12のダイ穴12aから落下する製品部は、台部16の穴部16aを通過して、収容部16bの凹部内に積層されていく。また、このパンチング装置10には、昇降機構18、ワーク把持部14を移動させるための各移動機構および搬送コンベア15aなどパンチング装置10が備える各種の装置の作動を制御するための制御装置も備わっている。
 この構成において、ワークWから製品部を打ち抜く穿孔加工を行う際には、まず、ワーク把持部14をテーブル14a上における下金型12から離れた位置に移動させて、4個の把持部にそれぞれワークWの各角部を把持させる。ついで、上金型13を上昇させた状態で、ワーク把持部14を移動させて、ワークWの所定の被穿孔部が下金型12のダイ穴12aに位置するようにする。そして、昇降機構18を作動させて上金型13を降下させる。これによって、パンチ13aがワークWを下金型12のダイ穴12a内に押し込みながらダイ穴12a内に嵌合していき、ワークWの被穿孔部(製品部)が打ち抜かれる。
 そして、穿孔された製品部は、下方に位置する収容部15bの凹部内に収容される。つぎに、上金型13を上昇させたのちに、ワーク把持部14を移動させて、ワークWのつぎの被穿孔部が下金型12のダイ穴12aに位置するようにする。そして、再度、上金型13を降下させて、ワークWの被穿孔部を打ち抜く。この操作を繰り返すことにより、ワークWのすべての被穿孔部を穿孔して製品部を収容部15bの凹部内に収容することができる。ワークWのすべての被穿孔部の穿孔が終了すると、そのワークWの残りの不要部は、テーブル14a側の所定の場所に搬送して新たなワークWをワーク把持部14で把持する。
 また、収容部15bの凹部内に製品部が所定量積層されると、搬送コンベア15aが作動して、つぎの空の収容部15bが、台部16の穴部16aの下方に搬送される。このようにして、穿孔加工が繰り返される間に、筐体部11には大きな荷重が繰り返しかかるが、筐体部11の前面部11aと後面部11bとが肉厚の剛性の高い鋼板で構成されているため、特に、台部16や下金型12が強固に支持される。これによって、下金型12が振動して穿孔加工に悪影響が生じることがなくなり、ワークWの精度のよい穿孔を行うことができる。
 このように、このパンチング装置10では、筐体部11の前面部11aと後面部11bとを肉厚の剛性の高い鋼板で構成している。そして、筐体部11の下部側部分を構成する筐体下部11Aにおける前面部11aと後面部11bとで囲まれる部分に左右の側面部11c,11d間を貫通する空間部を設け、その空間部に、回収機構15を設けている。このパンチング装置10によると、筐体下部11A内に回収機構15を配置するための空間を形成しても前面部11aと後面部11bとでパンチング装置10の全体が安定した状態で支持されるようになる。この結果、筐体部11全体の剛性が高まり精度のよい穿孔加工を行える。
 また、下金型12のダイ穴12aを上下に貫通させて、ワークWから穿孔された製品部が下金型12の下方に落下するようにし、下金型12の下方に回収機構15の収容部15bが位置するようにしている。このため、ワークWから打ち抜かれた製品部をそのまま下方の収容部15b内に入れることができ、所定量の製品部が収容された収容部15bを搬送コンベア15aで、所定の設置位置に効率よく搬送することができる。さらに、収容部15bに、平面視がワークWの製品部と同じ形状に形成された凹部を設けたため、製品部を向きを揃えて積層した状態で収容部15b内に効率よく収容することができる。
(第1実施形態の変形例)
 図5は、前述した第1実施形態の変形例に係るパンチング装置20を示している。このパンチング装置20では、回収機構25が、筐体部21の左右の側面部21c,21dにおける筐体下部21Aに含まれる部分に形成された一対の開口部(図示せず)を介して、筐体下部21Aの一方の外部から筐体下部21A内を通過して筐体下部21Aの他方の外部に延びる搬送コンベア25aと、搬送コンベア25a上を搬送される製品部を一時保持して収容部25bに搬送する吸着搬送部25cとを備えている。搬送コンベア25aは、無端ベルトを備えたベルトコンベアからなり、駆動装置の作動により、無端ベルトの上面部分が、図5の左側から右側に移動する。
 また、筐体部21の側面部21dにおける筐体上部21Bの部分からは右側に向って水平に延びるレール部28が設けられており、吸着搬送部25cは、このレール部28に移動可能に取り付けられている。そして、筐体上部21Bの側面部21dにおけるレール部28の下方には右側に向ってレール部28に平行して延びる棚部29が設けられており、この棚部29上に皿状(板状)の収容部25bが載置される。吸着搬送部25cは、レール部28から下方に延びる棒状の垂直部分と下端に設けられた一時保持手段としての吸着部とを備えており、駆動装置の作動により、矢印で示したように、レール部28に沿って左右方向に移動するとともに、吸着部を昇降させる。
 また、吸着部には、吸引装置(図示せず)が接続されており、この吸引装置の作動により吸着部は対象物(製品部)を吸着する。収容部25bは、板状体の中央に、穿孔されたワークWの製品部を収容するための凹部が形成された構造をしており、複数枚を積層可能になっている。なお、搬送コンベア25a、吸着搬送部25cおよびレール部28で本発明に係る製品搬送部が構成され、収容部25bで本発明に係る製品用収容部が構成される。このパンチング装置20のそれ以外の部分の構成については、前述した第1実施形態に係るパンチング装置10と同一である。したがって、同一部分に同一符号を記して説明は省略する。
 このパンチング装置20によると、穿孔されて下金型12のダイ穴12aから落下する製品部は、台部16の穴部16aを通過して、搬送コンベア25aの上面に落下していく。搬送コンベア25aの上面に落下した製品部は、搬送コンベア25aによって、筐体部21の外部に搬送される。そして、搬送コンベア25aで筐体部21の外部に搬送された製品部は、吸着搬送部25cによって吸着されて棚部29の上面に置かれた収容部25bまで搬送され、収容部25bの凹部内に収容される。
 なお、収容部25bは、1個の製品部だけを収容するようにしてもよいし、複数個の製品部を収容するようにしてもよい。収容部25bに所定量の製品部が収容されると、その収容部25bの上面に他の空の収容部25bが積み重ねられ、同様の操作が繰り返される。このパンチング装置20によっても、前述した第1実施形態に係るパンチング装置10と同様の作用効果を得ることができる。
(第2実施形態)
 図6ないし図8は、本発明の第2実施形態に係るパンチング装置30を示している。このパンチング装置30では、上金型33に本発明に係る一時保持手段としての吸引装置の吸引部(図示せず)が設けられており、上金型33のパンチ33aと下金型32のダイ穴32aとで打ち抜いたワークWの製品部が吸引装置の吸引によってパンチ33aの下面に吸引されるように構成されている。また、筐体部31の左右の側面部31c,31dにおける台部36の上部側の筐体上部31B(側面部31c,31dにおける台部36の上面位置から、台部36と側面部31c,31dの上端部との中間位置にかけての部分)に、それぞれ四角形の開口部39(図7参照)が対向して形成されている。
 そして、図6の左側に位置する開口部39を介して、筐体上部31Bの左側の外部から筐体上部31B内の略中央部にかけての部分に回収機構35が設置されている。この回収機構35は、支持部37の下面後部における左右方向の略中央部分から左側の開口部39を貫通して外部に延びるレール部35aと、このレール部35aに沿って移動可能な回転搬送台35bと、箱状の収容部(図示せず)とを備えている。回転搬送台35bは、レール部35aから下方に延びる棒状部と、その棒状部の下端に連結され前方に向って延びる板状部とからなっており駆動装置の作動により、レール部35aに沿って移動するとともに、棒状部の上端部を中心として図6に矢印dで示した方向に回転する。レール部35aと、回転搬送台35bとで本発明に係る移動保持部が構成される。
 また、筐体部31の側面部31cの外面における台部36のやや上方に対応する部分(筐体上部31Bの下部側部分)には、水平方向に延びる棚部35cが設けられており、収容部は、この棚部35cの上面に設置される。そして、このパンチング装置30には、パンチング装置10における搬送コンベア15aと収容部15bとで構成される回収機構15および一対の開口部19に対応するものは設けられていない。このパンチング装置30のそれ以外の部分の構成については、前述したパンチング装置10と同一である。したがって、同一部分に同一符号を記して説明は省略する。
 この構成において、ワークWから被穿孔部を打ち抜く穿孔加工を行う際には、ワーク把持部14の把持部でワークWの各角部を把持した状態で、ワーク把持部14を移動させて、ワークWの所定の被穿孔部が下金型32のダイ穴32aに位置するようにする。そして、昇降機構18を作動させて上金型33を降下させる。これによって、パンチ33aはワークWを下金型32のダイ穴32a内に押し込みながらダイ穴32a内に嵌合していき、ワークWの被穿孔部(製品部)が穿孔される。そして、上金型33を上昇させると、吸引装置の吸引力により穿孔された製品部は、上金型33の下面に吸着して上金型33とともに上昇する。
 その状態で、回転搬送台35bを上金型33側に移動させて、回転搬送台35bの板状部を上金型33の下方に位置させる。ついで、吸引装置による吸引を停止させて、製品部を板状部の上面に落下させる。そして、回転搬送台35bを左側に移動させていき、筐体部31の外部に到達したところで、回転搬送台35bを矢印dの方向に回転させて、製品部を収容部内に落下させる。この操作を繰り返すことにより、ワークWの被穿孔部を順次穿孔していき、ワークWのすべての被穿孔部の穿孔が終了すると、そのワークWの残りの不要部は、テーブル14a側の所定の場所に搬送して新たなワークWをワーク把持部14で把持する。そして、穿孔加工がさらに繰り返される。
 このパンチング装置30によると、吸引装置で製品部を吸引して上金型33の下面に吸着させたのちに、吸引装置による吸引を解除して、製品部を回転搬送台35bの板状部に載せるため、製品部を上金型33から受け取る操作を確実に行える。また、製品部の収容部への収容が、回転搬送台35bを回転させて、製品部を収容部内に落下させるだけであるため、製品部を確実に収容部内に収容することができる。このパンチング装置30のそれ以外の部分の作用効果については、前述したパンチング装置10の作用効果と同様である。
(第2実施形態の変形例)
 図9は、前述した第2実施形態の変形例に係るパンチング装置40を示している。このパンチング装置40では、回収機構45が、支持部47の下面後部における左右方向の略中央部分から筐体部41における筐体上部41Bの左側の側面部41cに向って延びるレール部45aと、このレール部45aに沿って移動可能な搬送台45bと、搬送台45bによって搬送される製品部を吸着して収容部45cに搬送する吸着搬送部45dとで構成されている。レール部45aは、前述したパンチング装置30が備えるレール部35aよりも短く形成され、このレール部45aに搬送台45bが移動可能に取り付けられている。
 搬送台45bは、レール部45aから下方に延びる棒状部と、その棒状部の下端に連結され前方に向って延びる板状部とからなっており駆動装置の作動により、レール部45aに沿って移動するが、前述した回転搬送台35bのような回転はできない。また、レール部45aの左側端部よりもやや右側の部分から筐体部41の左側の外部にかけての部分にレール部48が設けられており、吸着搬送部45dは、このレール部48に移動可能に取り付けられている。そして、筐体部41の筐体下部41Aの側面部41cにおけるレール部48の下方には左側に向って水平に延びたのちに屈曲して上方に延びるL形の屈曲棚部49が設けられており、この屈曲棚部49上端面に皿状の収容部45cが載置される。
 吸着搬送部45dは、前述したパンチング装置20の吸着搬送部25cと同一構造をしており、駆動装置の作動により、レール部48に沿って左右方向に移動するとともに、一時保持手段としての吸着部を昇降させる。そして、吸着部は、吸引装置の作動により、製品部を吸着する。また、収容部45cは前述した収容部25bと同一構造をしており、上面に形成された凹部内に穿孔されたワークWの製品部を収容して、複数枚を積層可能になっている。なお、レール部45a、搬送台45b、吸着搬送部45dおよびレール部48で、本発明に係る移動保持部が構成される。このパンチング装置40のそれ以外の部分の構成については、前述した第2実施形態に係るパンチング装置30と同一である。したがって、同一部分に同一符号を記して説明は省略する。
 このパンチング装置40によると、ワークWから製品部を穿孔したのちに、上金型33を上昇させると、穿孔された製品部は、吸引装置の吸引力により上金型33の下面に吸着して上金型33とともに上昇する。そして、搬送台45bを上金型33側に移動させて、搬送台45bの板状部を上金型33の下方に位置させた状態で、吸引装置による吸引を停止させることにより、製品部を板状部の上面に落下させることができる。
 そして、搬送台45bを左側に移動させて、搬送台45bに搬送された製品部が吸着搬送部45dの下方に到達したところで、板状部の上面の製品部は、吸着搬送部45dの吸着部によって吸着される、ついで、製品部は、吸着搬送部45dによって屈曲棚部49の上面に置かれた収容部45cまで搬送され、収容部45cの凹部内に収容される。この操作が繰り返され、収容部45cに所定の製品部が収容されると、その収容部45cの上面に他の空の収容部45cが積み重ねられ、同様の操作がさらに繰り返される。このパンチング装置40によっても、前述した第2実施形態に係るパンチング装置30と同様の作用効果を得ることができる。
(第3実施形態)
 図10は、本発明の第3実施形態に係るパンチング装置50を示している。このパンチング装置50では、図11に示したように、下金型52の上面中央に周囲部分よりも僅かに上方に突出した穿孔用突部52aが形成され、その穿孔用突部52aの上面における所定部分から下金型52の下面にかけて本発明に係る穿孔用小貫通孔としての貫通孔52bが形成されている。また、上金型53は、下面に穿孔用突部52aが嵌合できる浅い穿孔用凹部53aが形成され、穿孔用凹部53aの下面における貫通孔52bに対向する部分には、貫通孔52bに嵌合可能な本発明に係る穿孔用小突部としての小パンチ53bが下方に向って突出している。
 すなわち、この下金型52と上金型53とからなる穿孔用金型は、ワークWから製品部を打ち抜くとともに、同時に、製品部から不要部Dを打ち抜くように構成されており、パンチング装置50は、製品部を回収するための回収機構55と、不要部Dを回収するための回収機構55aとを備えている。回収機構55は、図6ないし図8に示したパンチング装置30が備える回収機構35と同一構造をしている。したがって、同一部分に同一符号を記して説明は省略する。また、回収機構55aは、図1および図4に示した搬送コンベア15aと同様の搬送コンベア55bと、箱状容器からなる収容部55cとで構成されている。また、パンチング装置50のそれ以外の部分の構成については、前述したパンチング装置10と同一である。同一部分に同一符号を記して説明は省略する。
 このパンチング装置50によると、下金型52の上面にワークWを配置した状態で、下金型52に対して上金型53を下降させると、穿孔用突部52aと穿孔用凹部53aとの嵌合により、ワークWから製品部が打ち抜かれる。同時に、貫通孔52bと小パンチ53bとの嵌合により、製品部から不要部Dが打ち抜かれる。そして、製品部は、吸引装置の吸引力により上金型53の下面に吸着して上昇したのちに回収機構55によって搬送され、収容部内に収容される。一方、不要部Dは、下方に落下して収容部55c内に収容される。
 このため、パンチング装置50によると、複雑な形状の製品部の打ち抜きを行えるとともに、ワークWから分離する製品部と不要部Dとを、それぞれ別々に分離して効率よく回収することができる。このパンチング装置50のそれ以外の作用効果については、前述した各実施形態等に係るパンチング装置の作用効果と同様である。
 また、本発明に係るパンチング装置は、前述した各実施形態に限定するものでなく、適宜変更して実施することができる。例えば、前述した第3実施形態では、不要部Dを回収するための回収機構55aを、搬送コンベア55bと、収容部55cとで構成しているが、搬送コンベア55bは省略して収容部55cだけで回収機構を構成してもよい。また、前述した各実施形態では、筐体部11等を構成する壁面のうちの前面部11aと後面部11bだけを肉厚の剛性の高い鋼板で構成しているが、側面部11c,11d等も同様の鋼板で構成してもよい。これによると、筐体部11等の強度がさらに高まる。
 また、パンチング装置10,20においては、筐体下部11A,21Aの部分に位置する前面部11aと後面部11bだけを肉厚の剛性の高い鋼板で構成することができ、パンチング装置30,40においては、筐体上部31B,41Bの部分に位置する前面部11aと後面部11bだけを肉厚の剛性の高い鋼板で構成することができる。さらに、一時保持手段としては、吸引、吸着等の手段に限らず、一時的に製品部を受け取り、保持し、任意に解放できるものであればよい。
(First embodiment)
Hereinafter, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. 1 to 3 show a punching apparatus 10 according to the embodiment. Claims (8)

  1. 下金型の上面にシート状または板状のワークを設置した状態で、前記下金型に対して上金型を進退させることにより、前記ワークから被穿孔部を打ち抜くパンチング装置において、
     前記下金型と前記上金型との双方またはいずれか一方を支持する矩形状の筐体部であって、内部から両側に位置する側面のうちの少なくとも一方の側面を貫通して外部に通じる空間部を形成した筺体部と、
     前記空間部から前記筐体部の外部にかけて設けられて、穿孔されたワークの被穿孔部を回収するための回収機構とを備え、
     前記筐体部における前記両側に位置する側面に直交する両側面を強固な壁面部で構成したことを特徴とするパンチング装置。
