  • each milking station 1 a-c is adapted to supply cleaning liquid to the milk line, via the same valve 3a-c and access line 4a-c that are used to transfer milk to the common milk line 6.
  • each milking station 1 a-c is also connected to the milk line 6 by means of a return line 5a-c for conveying liquid back to the respective milking station.
  • Each portion of the milk line 6a-c has a valve arrangement 7a-c for selectively connecting the portion 6a-c to the next portion 6a-d or to the return line 5a-c.
  • Each valve arrangement 7a-c is preferably a three-way valve, which fluidly interconnects a milk line portion to its neighbouring portion (or one of its neighbouring portions) during milk transfer, and the milk line portion to a return line 5a-c of the milking station during cleaning.
  • the arrangement is suitably adapted to control the valves of the arrangement.
  • Each milking station is preferably adapted to selectively connect its milk line portion to the next portion during milk transfer, while selecting to connect its portion 6a-c to the return line 5a-c when pumping cleaning liquid, which return line thereby is arranged to lead cleaning liquid from the milk line portion 6a-c back to the milking station 1 a-c.
  • the return line 5a-c of each milking station 1 a-c is arranged between the end of the milk line portion 6a-c of the respective milking station 1 a-c and back to the milking station 1 a-c.
  • each milking station 1 a-c pumps 2a-c milk via its access line 4a- c, into its segment 6a-c of the milk line 6 and further downstream through a neighbouring segment 6a-d to the milk tank 9.
  • Each upstream milking station 6a-b transfers its milk through all segments of downstream milking stations 6b-c, and the last milk line portion 6d.

  • the arrangement is illustrated as including three milking station but can be connected to several milking stations and milk line portions upstream by means of an upstream valve 17, for example for further selective milk line portion connection and return line connection.
  • the arrangement can also interconnect the neighbouring portions during some phase of the cleaning process.
  • the cleaning can include cleaning of the valve arrangements 7a-c, during which cleaning the valve arrangements 7a-c are open for flow between the milk line portions.
  • Another example is to supply cleaning liquid to the milking stations at the beginning of the cleaning, during which supply the valve arrangements can be open to lead cleaning liquid along the milk line between two or more neighbouring milk line portions.
  • the interconnection of milk line portions by means of the valve arrangements can be used to convey cleaning liquid away from one or more milking stations, for example to a common drain.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates an example of a milking station 1 that can be used for cleaning a portion of the milk transfer line by supplying, rinsing and circulating cleaning liquid in the transfer milk line.
  • the milking station is greatly simplified in the illustration, and includes means for milking an animal 21 , including teat cups, means for providing vacuum 24 to the teat cups, for example including an air pump and a pulsator, and a milk receiving container 23.
  • the function of the milking station 1 is controlled by a control unit 22 incorporated in the milking station 1.
  • the milking station is adapted to extract milk from an animal and draw it by means of vacuum to the milk- receiving container.
  • the milking station is also adapted to subsequently transfer the extracted milk, by means of a pump 2, to a milk storage tank.
  • the pump 2 can suitably be a pump having a variable speed, and the milking station can be adapted to control the speed of the pump during milk transfer and cleaning.
  • the illustrated milking station has been especially adapted for cleaning purposes by being provided with its own cleaning equipment, including a water supply 25 and means for supplying cleaning detergent 26 into water to provide cleaning liquid and including means for heating the cleaning liquid, such as a heating element 28, arranged in a cleaning liquid mixing and heating compartment 27.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé et sur une configuration de système de traite qui comporte une pluralité de postes de traite pour extraire du lait d'animaux, un lactoduc (6) et un réservoir de stockage (9), un premier poste de traite (1c) de la pluralité de postes de traite comportant un moyen (2c, 4c) de transfert du lait vers le réservoir de stockage par l'intermédiaire du lactoduc, ledit moyen de transfert comportant une conduite d'accès (4c) configurée de façon à conduire le lait du premier poste de traite vers une première partie (6c) du lactoduc, et un deuxième poste de traite (1b) de la pluralité de postes de traite comportant un moyen (2b, 4b) de transfert du lait vers le réservoir de stockage par l'intermédiaire du lactoduc, ledit moyen de transfert comportant une conduite d'accès (4b) configurée de façon à conduire le lait du deuxième poste de traite (1b) vers une deuxième partie (6b) du lactoduc. L'agencement est caractérisé en ce qu'une première conduite de retour (5c) est agencée de la première partie (6c) du lactoduc (6) au premier poste de traite (1c) de telle sorte que l'on peut faire circuler un liquide à partir du premier poste de traite, à travers la conduite d'accès (4c) du premier poste de traite, à travers la première partie du lactoduc (6c), et à travers la première conduite de retour (5c), pour le faire revenir vers le premier poste de traite, et qu'une seconde conduite de retour (5b) est agencée de la deuxième partie (6b) du lactoduc (6) au deuxième poste de traite (1b), de telle sorte que l'on peut faire circuler un liquide à partir du deuxième poste de traite, à travers la conduite d'accès (4b) du deuxième poste de traite, à travers la deuxième partie (6b) du lactoduc, et à travers la seconde conduite de retour (5b), pour le faire revenir vers le deuxième poste de traite.
