Abstract

La présente invention concerne des procédés d'emballage et des emballages qui empêchent l'endommagement des contenus desdits emballages tout en conservant la stérilité, et qui limitent les effets négatifs de la stérilisation sur des capteurs, tels que des capteurs d'enzyme. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé d'emballage d'un capteur d'enzyme, qui consiste à procurer un capteur d'enzyme, tel qu'un capteur de glucose oxydase, dans un emballage imperméable au gaz comprenant de l'oxygène et/ou de l'eau, à retirer une partie significative de l'oxygène et de l'eau présents dans l'emballage, et à fermer hermétiquement l'emballage. L'emballage résultant comprend le capteur d'enzyme dans une atmosphère qui est sensiblement dépourvue d'oxygène et d'eau. L'emballage peut également comprendre un indicateur de pression qui indique lorsque l'emballage a dépassé une pression prédéfinie.
