Abstract

Provided are a method and a system for controlling a group of lamps, wherein the on/off control of the group of lamps is performed by mutually-associated network communications with respect to the group of lamps, thereby enabling the on/off control of the lamps according to the moving speed of a moving object, and a remote controller enables the interactive control of illumination and on/off function of the lamps. To this end, the system comprises: a plurality of lamps that are installed in a large indoor space such that the lamps can illuminate respective applicable parts of the indoor space; a plurality of lamp controllers that are installed corresponding respectively to the lamps, perform the sequent transmission of control signals for the on/off control of the lamps by the mutual network communications among adjacent devices on a basis of the sensing of the moving object, and control the on/off state of each of the applicable lamps; and a remote controller for generating remote control signals to remotely control the lamps by the sequent transmission of the control signals among the lamp controllers.
