Abstract

The present invention relates to ventilation equipment for an underground structure and a method for controlling the same, and specifically to ventilation equipment for an underground structure and method of controlling same, wherein heating of the air supply and exhaust fans of an underground structure is reduced, the energy efficiency of air supply, exhaust fans and an induction fan are maximized by freely controlling the fan speed; and rotational directions of the fans are changed in emergency situations to vent fire and hazardous gases and to switch an air supply fan to an air exhaust fan in an emergency so that contaminated air inside a room may be vented quickly and venting efficiency maximized, and power consumption and noise are reduced during normal operations to maximize the ventilation efficiency of an underground structure.
