Abstract

The objective of the present invention is to provide a toilet for posture correction in order for a defecator to keep the inner anal sphincter relaxed to improve health through relief of constipation and regular bowel movements. The present invention comprises footholds (1) provided on the right and left sides of the toilet bowl which are lower than seat (2) of the toilet to correspond to the height of the user's ankles so that the user's feet can be placed thereon. As a person who wants to defecate sits on the seat of the toilet and puts the feet on the footholds (1), the knees are raised and the femoral region presses on the lower abdomen, and therefore the S-shaped colon is pushed up and then abdominal pressure increases, thereby keeping the posture in which the anorectal angle is widened and at the same time the inner anal sphincter is relaxed properly.
