Abstract

L'invention concerne le domaine de la fabrication et de la circulation de documents de valeur (p.ex., billets de banque, passeports, diplôme, pièces d'identité, etc.). Le document de valeur comporte à sa surface un élément de protection faiblement visible ou faiblement teinté, appliqué par un procédé d'imprimerie et servant, d'une part, à déterminer au moyen d'instruments l'authenticité des documents de valeur grâce à un détecteur spécial et, d'autre part, à révéler les cas de falsification partielle d'un document de valeur par l'insertion de modification non autorisées dans des champs de données personnelles et/ou financières, au moyen d'un dispositif de visualisation infrarouge. Le procédé de protection de documents de valeur contre la contrefaçon consiste à appliquer à leur surface, par un procédé d'imprimerie, d'un colorant non chromatique ou faiblement teinté, qui constitue un élément de protection absorbant sélectivement le rayonnement dans les gammes d'infrarouge visible ou proche. L'invention porte aussi sur un procédé et un colorant basés sur l'utilisation simultanée d'un colorant absorbant sélectivement le rayonnement et d'un luminophore anti-stoke, la région d'excitation du luminophore et la région d'absorption du pigment étant mises en correspondance.
