Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sensorelement (110) zur Bestimmung mindestens einer Eigenschaft eines Gases in einem Messgasraum (112), insbesondere zum Nachweis einer Gaskomponente in einem Gasgemisch. Das Sensorelement (110) umfasst mindestens eine Zelle (128) mit mindestens einer ersten Elektrode (114), mindestens einer zweiten Elektrode (122) und mindestens einem die erste Elektrode (114) und die zweite Elektrode (122) verbindenden Festelektrolyten (118) mit einem Festelektrolytmaterial (120). Weiterhin weist das Sensorelement (110) mindestens ein Trägerelement (126) mit einem Trägermaterial (132) auf, wobei das Trägermaterial (132) eine geringere ionische Leitfähigkeit aufweist als das Festelektrolytmaterial (120). Das Trägerelement (126) ist ausgestaltet und angeordnet, um die Zelle (128) mechanisch zu stabilisieren.
