Abstract
The invention relates to a drying cabinet for ceramic precision casting molds, which in a simple and economical manner enables fast drying of ceramic precision casting molds while consuming little energy and employing infrared radiation. The drying cabinet comprises a plurality of separate and differently dimensioned drying compartments (1), wherein each compartment is provided with a rotating rotational device (7) for the precision casting mold. The drying compartments (1) are connected to a feed and exhaust air fan (17) and to a series of fans (11) for the drying air and are provided with an infrared radiator (2) arranged in the direction of the fans (11). The fans (11) are arranged behind the infrared radiator (2), as viewed in the circumferential direction. Each drying compartment (1) comprises a measuring point (21), preferably for regulating and measuring the temperature and/or humidity. The field of application of the drying cabinet is in particular the fast drying of ceramic precision casting molds and clusters provided for the manufacture of castings.
