  • the pockets 4 are connected with the storage pocket 5 of the second part 3 through only one air channel 7, but it is realized as described above that the device 1 may comprise a plurality of separate air channels 7 connected to a plurality of separate air pockets 4.
  • the goods 10 are placed in the storage pocket 5 of the first part 2 as shown in Figure 1. Then, the device 1 1 is rolled up from the opening of the second part 3 in the direction against the first part 2, which is shown in Figures 2 and 3, respectively.
  • the air originally being in the second part 3 (for example from the storage pocket 5) will flow into the pockets 4 of the first part 2 through air channels 7 for forming a plurality of air pockets 4.
  • the air pockets 4 will substantially enclose the storage pocket 5 and hence the goods 10. Therefore, the goods 10 will be protected against mechanical and chemical damage. It should be noted that if the goods 10 consists of several items, intended to be protected in the storage pocket 5, it is important that the different items are arranged tight together when the device 1 is fully rolled up, however eventually with inserts between the items.
  • the device 1 provides protection for the goods 10 in transport. Further, the device 1 has the advantage of taking up minimal space when not in use, since the pockets 4 are not filed with air in this non-used state. The device 1 can also be made very light. For these mentioned reasons the device 1 is handy to bring on travels.
  • At least the first part 2 of the device 1 is made of an elastic material so that the pockets 4 may expand when air flows into the pockets 4, and hence an over-pressure is formed in the pockets 4 when the device 1 is used as intended. It is especially important that the pockets 4 are expandable in air transports since the over-pressure will be even higher in the pockets 4 in this case due to the low pressure of the atmosphere at these high altitudes.
  • the opening 6 also comprises a sealing device for sealing the opening 6.
  • the sealing device can for example be a zip fastener or an equivalent device with a corresponding function.
  • the sealing device can be airtight. It is not necessary that the opening 6 comprises a sealing device for the present device 1 to work properly, i.e. that the air stays in the pockets 4, since this will still be the case. However, with a sealing device an extra security function is provided.
  • the device 1 in a not shown embodiment also comprises at least one non return valve arranged at the air channel 7 and in connection with the same.
  • the function of the non-return valve is to allow air to flow into the first part 2, but to prevent the air from flowing back to the second part 3.
  • the non-return valve should have an opening function so that air in the first part 2 can be released, for example when the device 1 is not used.
  • Figure 4 shows two hook and loop bands arranged on the device 1 functioning as fixing means so that the device 1 stays in its rolled up state in transport.
  • Other examples of fixing means are push buttons; or strings fastened on the device 1, which are tied around the device 1 when in the rolled up state.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de protection de marchandises pendant le transport. Ce dispositif (1) se compose d'un sac étanche à l'air qui peut se rouler et qui comprend une première partie (2) et une seconde partie (3). L'organisation du dispositif (1) fait que la première partie (2) comporte une pluralité de poches (4) destinées à recevoir de l'air, et que la seconde partie (3) comporte, d'une part au moins une poche de rangement (5) servant au rangement de marchandises (10), et d'autre part une ouverture (6) qui est reliée à la poche de rangement (5) et qui donne accès à la poche de rangement (5). En outre, les poches de la première partie (2) sont reliées à la seconde partie (3) par au moins un canal d'air (7).
