Description

Paper sheet processing equipment
The present invention relates to a paper sheet processing apparatus having a plurality of input sections.
As one of paper sheet processing apparatuses for processing paper sheets including banknotes, checks, tickets, and the like, Patent Document 1 discloses a banknote deposit machine. In this bill depositing machine, two insertion ports are arranged in a horizontal direction in one housing, and an LED that lights in green and an LED that lights in red are attached to each insertion port. Each slot is an opening for inserting bills, and the slot is connected to different storage units. Therefore, this depositing machine has two storage units.
In this depositing machine, an input port through which a bill can be inserted is indicated by an LED attached to each input port, and the user inserts a bill into the input port where the green LED is lit. Then, after the storage unit to which the slot is connected is filled with banknotes, the banknotes are inserted into the other slot.
Thus, although this depositing machine has two insertion slots, even if a bill is inserted into any insertion slot, it is only stored in the storage section. That is, the same processing is executed for banknotes. Moreover, although it has two insertion ports, the user cannot select the insertion port into which a banknote is inserted arbitrarily.
Patent Document 2 discloses a bill depositing / dispensing machine having three insertion ports. This depositing / dispensing machine is a change payment machine for a POS register, and is configured to insert a bill into a different slot for each denomination. The bills inserted into each insertion slot are stored in different storage units. Therefore, this depositing / dispensing machine includes three storage units. Moreover, the banknotes drawn out from each storage unit are paid out from different payout ports for change payment. Therefore, this depositing / dispensing machine has three payout openings.
In this depositing / dispensing machine, each slot accepts only a single denomination banknote, so the user inserts a banknote into the slot corresponding to the denomination. Therefore, in this depositing / dispensing machine, the insertion slot to be inserted is alternatively determined depending on the denomination, and the user cannot arbitrarily select the insertion slot to insert the banknote.
By the way, there are cases where such a paper sheet processing apparatus has a plurality of processing functions and wants to use these processing functions appropriately. For example, at retail stores near the border, banknotes in other countries' currency are not used as change, so only deposits are made. In the example, there is a request to properly use a deposit process and a deposit / withdrawal process. Therefore, in a paper sheet processing apparatus having a plurality of processing functions, usually, when a paper sheet is inserted, the processing is selected by operating the operation unit. However, the necessity of such operation leads to complications and has to master the operation of the apparatus. There is also a risk of operating errors. That is, the paper sheet processing apparatus that requires the selection operation of the processing function is not convenient.
US Pat. No. 5,695,038 Japanese Patent No. 2966264
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to simplify a selection procedure of processing in a paper sheet processing apparatus having a plurality of processing functions, and to perform the paper sheet processing apparatus. It is to improve usability.
According to an aspect of the present invention, the paper sheet processing apparatus is provided with a plurality of input units that input at least paper sheets and that feed out the paper sheets one by one, corresponding to each of the input units. And at least one identification unit disposed in a conveyance path between each input unit and each storage unit, for each input unit A storage unit that stores the set processing content, and a control unit that executes processing of the input paper sheet according to the set processing content, based on the input unit in which the paper sheet is input, The processing content related to at least one input unit is different from the processing content related to other input units.
According to this configuration, the paper sheet processing apparatus executes processing different from when paper sheets are input into other input sections when paper sheets are input into a predetermined input section among a plurality of input sections. Is done. Therefore, when the user wants to perform a desired process on the paper sheet, the user may select the input unit for executing the process and input the paper sheet.
As described above, by associating the input unit for inputting paper sheets with the processing, the user selects a desired process from a plurality of processes only by selecting the input unit for inputting paper sheets. . Therefore, it is not necessary to perform a complicated operation of the operation unit, and since no operation is performed, an operation error cannot occur. As a result, the usability of the paper sheet processing apparatus is improved.
At least one of the plurality of storage units is a storage / feeding unit configured to be able to feed out the stored paper sheets, and the paper sheet processing apparatus is configured to correspond to the storage / feeding unit. The paper sheet that is further provided with an output portion and is put into the input portion corresponding to the storage and feeding portion is stored in the storage and feeding portion, and then is fed out from the storage and feeding portion to be removed from the throwing portion to the outside of the apparatus. Can be discharged.
In this way, when a sheet is loaded into a predetermined loading section among the plurality of loading sections, the sheet is stored in the storing and feeding section, so that the sheet is stored after being stored in the storing and feeding section. It can be fed out from the feeding section and discharged out of the apparatus. On the other hand, when a paper sheet is loaded into another loading section, it is stored in a storage section different from the storage and feeding section, so that the paper sheet cannot be fed out from the storage section, and is out of the apparatus. It cannot be discharged.
Therefore, it is possible to distinguish between paper sheets that are repeatedly used and paper sheets that are not stored and used only by selecting the input section into which the paper sheets are input.
At least one storage unit among the plurality of storage units is a storage unit with handling restriction in which a user authority for limiting a user who can handle is set, and a loading unit corresponding to the storage unit with handling limit When a paper sheet is inserted, it may be stored in the storage section with handling restrictions so that only authorized users can handle it.
By doing this, it is possible to select a user who handles the paper sheet by selecting the input unit into which the paper sheet is input.
Here, user authority may be set for all or a part of the plurality of storage units, and at least one of the set user authorities may be different from other user authorities.
The identification unit identifies at least the type of the paper sheet, and each input unit can accept a predetermined type of paper sheet based on the identification result of the identification unit, and the plurality of input units Of these, at least one input unit may be configured such that the type of paper sheet received is different from the type of paper sheet received by another input unit.
This makes it possible to sort the paper sheets by selecting the input section, and also correctly sorts the paper sheets even if the input section is wrongly selected. Here, a part of the types of paper sheets that can be accepted in each input unit may be shared among a plurality of input units. By doing so, the user can select an input unit for inputting a predetermined type of paper sheets.
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to select a process related to a paper sheet by selecting the input unit into which the paper sheet is input, so that an operation for selecting the process is unnecessary. As a result, the usability of the paper sheet processing apparatus can be improved.

The depositing units 211 and 221 receive a plurality of banknotes in a state where the banknotes are stacked on the insertion ports 111 and 112, and the feeding mechanism picks up the banknotes one by one from the banknote bundle toward the identification units 213 and 223. Pull out. The depositing units 211 and 221 may accept banknotes one by one.
The identification units 213 and 223 identify at least the authenticity and denomination of each banknote conveyed from the depositing units 211 and 221 via the conveyance paths 218 and 228. Moreover, the identification parts 213 and 223 can identify the correctness of banknotes as necessary. At the same time, based on the outputs of the identification units 213 and 223, the control unit 15 described later performs bill counting processing. In addition, if this depositing / dispensing machine 1 is configured to be able to process currencies in a plurality of countries, the identification units 213 and 223 may identify the type of the currency.
The reject units 212 and 222 are branched and connected to the conveyance paths 218 and 228 connecting the identification units 213 and 223 and the storage cassettes 214 and 224, and the branch members 219 and 219 disposed at the branch positions thereof are connected. 229 is controlled based on the identification results of the identification units 213 and 223, whereby the bills that have passed through the identification units 213 and 223 are selectively conveyed to the storage cassettes 214 and 224 side or the rejection units 212 and 222 side. It will be. The banknotes conveyed to the reject units 212 and 222 are taken out from the payout openings 114 and 115 by the user.
The storage cassettes 214 and 224 store the banknotes conveyed from the identification units 213 and 223 in a stacked state. The storage cassettes 214 and 224 do not have a payout mechanism, and banknotes stored here cannot be drawn out therefrom. When the banknotes stored in the storage cassettes 214 and 224 are taken out, the storage cassettes 214 and 224 are removed from the depositing / dispensing machine 1 and the doors provided on the storage cassettes 214 and 224 are not shown in the drawing. By opening.
As described above, the storage cassettes 214 and 224 are detachably mounted in the safe 12, and when the storage cassettes 214 and 224 are taken out and mounted, as described above, the opening / closing door 121 of the safe 12 is provided. , 122 is opened and taken out and attached.
The storage cassettes 214 and 224 are taken out and mounted by a person in charge of a police company who has contracted in advance. Specifically, the person in charge of the security company takes out the storage cassettes 214 and 224 in which banknotes are stored, and performs a replacement operation of the cassette in which the empty storage cassettes 214 and 224 are mounted. The taken out storage cassettes 214 and 224 are transported to a cash center of the police company, where banknotes are taken out from the storage cassettes 214 and 224 and counted, and the counting result and cash are collected by, for example, a journal or a communication line. A settlement process is performed to collate with deposit data separately provided to the center.
FIG. 3 schematically shows the internal configuration of the third processing unit 23. The third processing unit 23 includes the depositing unit 231 having the aforementioned inlet 113, the withdrawal / rejecting unit 232 having the payout port 116, and the identification disposed between the depositing unit 231 and the withdrawal / rejecting unit 232. A portion 233, a storage cassette 234 that can be attached to and detached from the housing, and three storage portions 235 are connected to each other by a transport path 238.
The depositing unit 231, the identification unit 233, and the storage cassette 234 have the same configuration as the depositing units 211, 221 and the identification units 213, 223 and the storage cassettes 214, 224 in the first and second processing units 21, 22, respectively. However, unlike the storage cassettes 21 and 224 in the first and second processing units 21 and 22, the storage cassette 234 is identified through a conveyance path 238 branched in a path from the identification unit 233 to the withdrawal / rejection unit 232. Connected to the unit 233.
Each storage unit 235 is the same as the storage cassette 234 in that the banknotes are stored in a stacked state. However, unlike the storage cassette 234, each storage unit 235 has a feeding mechanism. For this reason, each storage unit 235 can feed out banknotes stored one by one. The storage unit 235 may be a so-called tape-type stacker that winds and stores the banknotes fed into the rotary drum while being sandwiched between two tapes.
The storage unit 235 and the storage cassette 234 are individually connected to the identification unit 233 by branching from the conveyance path 238 via the branch member 239. However, the storage cassette 234 is provided with two branch members 239, and the storage portion 235 disposed at the lowest position is not provided with the branch member 239. By controlling each branch member 239 based on the identification result of the identification unit 233, bills of different denominations are stored in the three storage units 235. The banknotes stored in the storage unit 235 are banknotes to be paid out for change. Moreover, the banknote accommodated in the storage cassette 234 is good also as the overflow banknote which became impossible to accommodate, for example when the accommodating part 235 becomes full.
The withdrawal / rejection unit 232 is branched and connected to a conveyance path 238 that connects the identification unit 233 and the storage unit 235. A branching member 239 is disposed at the branching position. By controlling the branching member 239 based on the identification result of the identification unit 233, the banknote that has passed through the identification unit 233 is sent to the withdrawal / rejection unit 232. It will be transported selectively.
Specifically, when rejecting a bill inserted into the insertion slot 113, the bill is conveyed to the withdrawal / rejection portion 232 side by the branching member 239 after passing through the identification portion 233 as described above.
The withdrawal / rejection unit 232 is also connected via a branch path 2381 branched from the conveyance path connecting the identification unit 233 and the depositing unit 231. Thereby, when the depositing / dispensing machine 1 receives a withdrawal command (payout as change) from the POS register 8, the required number of banknotes is stored from the storage unit 235 in which the denomination corresponding to the withdrawal command is stored. In addition, the bills are fed out one by one, and after the bills pass through the identification unit 233, they are conveyed to the withdrawal / rejection unit 232 side through the branch path 2381. In this way, before the banknotes are paid out, the identification unit 233 performs the identification process.
In any case, the banknotes conveyed to the withdrawal / rejection unit 232 are taken out from the payout opening 116 by the user (here, a store clerk in the retail store).
In addition, in FIG. 3, although the accommodating part 235 is arrange | positioned at the lower part of the 3rd process part 23, you may arrange | position these at the upper part. When the owner of the banknotes stored in the storage unit 235 is different from the owner of the banknotes stored in the storage cassette 234, it is desirable that only the storage cassette 234 can be attached and detached when the door 123 is opened.
Also, the present embodiment can be applied to a depositing / dispensing machine having a loading / unloading port in which a loading / unloading port and a dispensing / rejecting unit are integrated.
FIG. 4 is a block diagram showing a configuration related to the control of the depositing / dispensing machine 1. As described above, the deposit / withdrawal machine 1 includes the first to third processing units 21 to 23. Among these, the 1st and 2nd process parts 21 and 22 are provided with the money_receiving | payment part 211,221, the identification part 213,223, the rejection part 212,222, the conveyance part 216,226, and the locking / unlocking part 217,227. . These units are electrically connected to the control unit 15 and controlled by the control unit 15.
The control unit 15 is also connected to a storage unit 151 including a nonvolatile RAM, a ROM, a fixed disk device, and the like. The storage unit 151 stores various types of data such as set processing contents and stock amount, and program data, and the control unit 15 reads data in the storage unit 151 as necessary.
On the other hand, the third processing unit 23 includes a depositing unit 231, an identification unit 233, a withdrawal / rejection unit 232, a transport unit 236, a locking / unlocking unit 237, and a storage unit 235. It is electrically connected and controlled by the control unit 15.
Here, the transport units 216, 226, and 236 include the transport paths 218, 228, and 238 and the branch members 219, 229, and 239, and are parts that transport bills by operating them.
Also, the locking / unlocking parts 217, 227, 237 are parts for locking and unlocking the doors 121, 122, 123 of the safe 12 in each of the first to third processing parts 21-23. As will be described later, locking and unlocking are performed according to the user authentication result.
A card reader 82 is also connected to the control unit 15. The card reader 82 is a device that reads information recorded on, for example, a magnetic card or an IC card, and user authentication is performed by transmitting the read result to the control unit 15.
Thus, as described above, the POS register 8 is connected to the control unit 15. In response to the withdrawal instruction from the POS register 8, the control unit 15 controls the third processing unit 23 to perform withdrawal (dispensing of change) as will be described later.
In addition, when putting the money deposited from the customer into the depositing / dispensing machine 1 as a form of use of the retail store and counting the deposit first, the depositing / dispensing machine 1 sends the money to the POS register 8. The fixed amount will be transmitted.
The operation of the depositing / dispensing machine 1 configured as described above will be described. This depositing / dispensing machine 1 is assumed to be installed in a retail store near the border. For this reason, in this store, the customer can use both the home currency and the foreign currency. Here, the store side uses the home currency as the change and does not use the foreign currency as the change.
Therefore, in this depositing / dispensing machine 1, the first processing unit 21 is used as a portion for depositing banknotes in other foreign currencies that are not used as change. Moreover, the 3rd process part 23 is used as a part which deposits the banknote of the home currency used as change. Therefore, even if it is a banknote of the home currency, the highest amount of banknote that cannot be used as change is not deposited in the third processing unit 23. Furthermore, although the 2nd process part 22 is a banknote of a home country currency, it is used as a part which only deposits, without changing. The highest banknote in the home currency is deposited into the second processing unit 22.
The settings of the identification units 213 to 233 of the first to third processing units 21 to 23 are individually set so that the first to third processing units 21 to 23 can perform such processing. Such setting may be performed by operating the operation unit 14 when the operation of the depositing / dispensing machine 1 is started, for example, when the depositing / dispensing machine 1 is installed.
Further, even after the depositing / dispensing machine 1 is installed, the processing contents of the processing units 21 to 23 may be changed. For example, a manager or a maintenance staff may change the setting by performing user authentication.
Specifically, the identification unit 213 of the first processing unit 21 recognizes the banknote of the home currency and the banknote of the foreign currency, and by identifying the denomination thereof, the banknote and the non-performing bill of the home currency are rejected. Is determined. Therefore, when a banknote of another foreign currency is inserted into the insertion slot 111 of the first processing unit 21, it is stored in the storage cassette 214 without being rejected. Therefore, the 1st processing part 21 can accept the bill of a plurality of denominations of other countries currency. On the other hand, when a bill and a slip of domestic currency are inserted, it is rejected at the reject port (payout port) 114.
On the other hand, the identification unit 223 of the second processing unit 22 recognizes the banknote of the home currency and the banknote of the other country currency, and recognizes the denomination thereof, thereby rejecting the banknote and the non-performing bill of the other country currency. Judged as banknote. Therefore, when a foreign currency banknote and a non-performing banknote are inserted into the insertion slot 112 of the second processing unit 22, they are rejected at the rejection slot (payout port) 115, whereas when a domestic currency banknote is inserted, they are not rejected. Then, it is stored in the storage cassette 224. Accordingly, the second processing unit 22 can accept banknotes of multiple denominations in the home currency.
The identification unit 233 of the third processing unit 23 recognizes the banknote of the home currency and the banknote of the other country currency, and by identifying the denomination thereof, the banknote of the other country currency and the highest amount banknote and the loss in the home currency. A ticket (in other words, a banknote that cannot be changed) is determined as a reject banknote. Accordingly, when a foreign currency banknote is inserted into the insertion port 113 of the third processing unit 23 and when a maximum amount banknote and a non-performing banknote of the home currency are inserted, it is rejected to the reject port (payout port) 116, When a currency bill (other than the highest bill and non-damaged bill) is inserted, it is stored in the storage cassette 234 or the storage unit 235 without being rejected. Accordingly, the third processing unit 23 can accept banknotes of multiple denominations in the home currency (however, excluding the highest amount of banknotes).
In this way, the user (the store clerk of the retail store) selects the input ports 111 to 113 to input the banknotes according to the type of the banknote, so that the foreign currency can be operated without operating the depositing / dispensing machine 1. The home currency and change can be managed separately.
Specifically, in the relationship between the second processing unit 22 and the third processing unit 23, the deposit / withdrawal machine 1 is a process of securing banknotes for change separately from other banknotes with respect to the home currency. Is realized only by changing the insertion ports 112 and 113 for inserting bills. Moreover, in the relationship between the 2nd process part 22 and the 3rd process part 23, while accepting the banknote of multiple denominations about each home currency, the 3rd process part 23 cannot accept the highest amount of banknote. Therefore, the acceptable denominations are different between the two processing units 22 and 23. However, some of the acceptable denominations are common to the two processing units 22 and 23.
In the relationship between the second processing unit 22 and the third processing unit 23 and the first processing unit 21, the home currency and the foreign currency can be sorted by changing the input ports 111 to 113.
Further, in this depositing / dispensing machine 1, user authority is set for opening and closing the doors 121 to 123 of the first to third processing units 21 to 23, respectively. Specifically, the first and second processing units 21 and 22 are given the authority to open and close the police company (the person in charge thereof). As a result, the person in charge of the security company can open and close the open / close doors 121 and 122 of the first and second processing units 21 and 22 when the storage cassettes 214 and 224 are collected. Moreover, the authority with respect to the 1st and 2nd process parts 21 and 22 is not given to the retail store.
On the other hand, in the third processing unit 23, the retail store is authorized to open and close, and the police company is not authorized.
These settings may also be performed by operating the operation unit 14 when starting the operation of the depositing / dispensing machine 1, for example, when the depositing / dispensing machine 1 is installed.
Further, even after the depositing / dispensing machine 1 is installed, the processing contents of the processing units 21 to 23 may be changed. For example, a manager or a maintenance staff may change the setting by performing user authentication.
Open / close control of the open / close doors 12 to 123 is performed based on user authentication via the card reader 82. The person in charge of the police company or the store clerk of the retail store reads the information of the card possessed by the card reader, whereby the user authentication is performed and the open / close doors 121 to 123 of the processing units 21 to 23 to which the authority is given. Can be opened. Thus, by opening the opening / closing doors 121 to 123, the storage cassettes 214 to 234 stored in the safe 12 can be taken out and the storage cassettes 214 to 234 can be mounted.
In this depositing / dispensing machine 1, the user (a store clerk of the retail store) can select the slot 111 to 113 into which the banknote is to be inserted according to the type of banknote, without operating the depositing / dispensing machine 1. The user who handles the banknote which received money can be set up, respectively. Specifically, in this depositing / dispensing machine 1, in the relationship between the first and second processing units 21, 22 and the third processing unit 23, the handling of deposited banknotes is changed to the police company side or the retail store side. Can do.
Although the depositing / dispensing machine 1 includes the first to third processing units 21 to 23, the number of processing units is not limited to this. The depositing / dispensing machine 1 may include four or more processing units. For example, as schematically shown in FIG. 5, two processing units 24 and 24 corresponding to the first processing unit 21 and the second processing unit 22 in the depositing and dispensing machine 1 shown in FIG. Also good. That is, both of the two processing units 24 may include only the storage cassette 244 so that banknotes inserted into the depositing unit 241 (payout port) cannot be paid out. The depositing unit 241, the identifying unit 243, the rejecting unit 242, the transporting unit 246, and the locking / unlocking unit 247 in the processing unit 24 are the depositing unit 211, the identifying unit 213, the rejecting unit 212, and the transporting unit in the first processing unit 21, respectively. 216 and locking / unlocking part 217 are the same.
Then, the types of banknotes stored may be different between the two processing units 24 and 24 (for example, the home currency and the foreign currency), or between the two processing units 24 and 24. The user authority for opening and closing the door may be varied.
For example, as shown in FIG. 6, two processing units 24 and 25 corresponding to the second processing unit 22 and the third processing unit 23 in the depositing and dispensing machine 1 shown in FIG. 1 and the like may be provided. That is, one processing unit 24 of the two processing units includes only the storage cassette 244 and is configured so that banknotes inserted into the depositing unit (payment port) 241 cannot be dispensed, and the other processing unit of the two processing units. 25 may include a storage cassette 254 and a storage unit 255 so that banknotes inserted into the depositing unit (payout port) 251 can be paid out. The depositing unit 251, the identifying unit 253, the withdrawal / rejecting unit 252, the transporting unit 256, and the locking / unlocking unit 257 in the processing unit 25 are the depositing unit 231, the identifying unit 233, and the rejecting unit 232 in the third processing unit 23, respectively. These are the same as the transport unit 236 and the locking / unlocking unit 237.
Then, the types of banknotes to be stored may be different between the two processing units 24 and 25 (for example, the home currency and the foreign currency), or between the two processing units 24 and 25. The user authority for opening and closing the door may be varied. Moreover, you may make it sort the banknote for change and other banknotes between the two process parts 24 and 25. FIG.
In addition, although illustration is abbreviate | omitted, you may make it provide the processing cassette 25 provided with the storage cassette 254 and the storage part 255, and comprised so that payment | payout of the banknote inserted into the money_receiving | payment part (pay-in opening) 251 was possible. .
Here, for example, as shown in FIG. 6, when the storage cassettes 244 and 254 are provided in the two processing units 24 and 25, respectively, when the storage cassette is collected as described above, the processing units 24 and 25 are collected. The two storage cassettes taken out by opening and closing the door must be transported individually. This is complicated.
Therefore, the two storage cassettes taken out from the two processing units may be combined into one cassette. Specifically, as schematically shown in FIG. 6, when the storage cassette of one processing unit is relatively large and the storage cassette of the other processing unit is relatively small, as shown in FIG. The storage cassette 5 may be provided with a cassette storage portion 51 that can store a small storage cassette 54. More specifically, the large storage cassette 5 stores banknotes and is opened and closed by an opening / closing door having a lock 521, and a cassette storage section 51 in which the small storage cassette 54 is stored. The bill storage part 52 and the cassette storage part 51 are both configured to be opened and closed by another door 53. Thus, after the large storage cassette 5 is taken out from one processing section and the small storage cassette 54 is taken out from the other processing section, the opening / closing door 53 of the large storage cassette 5 is opened, and the small storage cassette 54 is opened. By accommodating the cassette 54 in the cassette accommodating portion 51, the two storage cassettes 5 and 6 taken out can be combined into one storage cassette. As a result, the number of storage cassettes to be transported is one, so that the transport work is facilitated. In addition, since there is only one storage cassette collected at one collection point (here, a specific retail store), there is no need to associate a plurality of storage cassettes with each other at the cash center at the transport destination. Processing can be facilitated. Here, the small storage cassette may not be a box shape as shown in FIG. 7, but may be a bag shape although illustration is omitted. As another configuration, the other storage cassette may be attached to the outside of one storage cassette so that they can be handled integrally.
Incidentally, in the depositing and dispensing machine shown in FIG. 1 and the like, a plurality of depositing ports are arranged in the left-right direction by arranging a plurality of processing units in the left-right direction. However, the configuration of the deposit / withdrawal machine is not limited to this. For example, as shown in FIG. 8, a plurality of deposit ports (throwing portions 611 and 621) may be arranged in the vertical direction. By doing so, there is an advantage that the arrangement space of the depositing / dispensing machine 6 is reduced. In addition, although illustration is abbreviate | omitted in FIG. 8, you may arrange | position the discharge outlet which concerns on a rejection part along with the up-down direction so that it may become the same row | line | column with a some deposit port (refer FIG. 9,10).
Thus, when the depositing ports 611 and 621 are arranged in the vertical direction, as shown in FIG. 9, for example, the storage units (or storage cassettes) 614 and 624 may be arranged back and forth within the housing. Then, while the identification units 613 and 623 are disposed between the deposit units 612 and 622 arranged in the vertical direction and the storage units 614 and 624, the deposit units 612 and 622, the identification units 613 and 623, the reject What is necessary is just to connect the part 631 and the accommodating parts 614,624 with a conveyance path mutually.
Further, for example, as shown in FIG. 10, storage units (or storage cassettes) may be arranged vertically within the housing. In addition, unlike the example shown in FIG. 9, banknotes conveyed from a plurality of deposit ports 611 and 621 may be identified by one identification unit 613. Note that the example shown in FIG. 10 may have a plurality of identification units as in the example shown in FIG. Then, the depositing units 612, 622, the identifying unit 613, the rejecting unit 631, and the storing unit are disposed while the identifying unit 613 is disposed between the depositing units 612, 622 arranged in the vertical direction and the storing units 614, 624. What is necessary is just to connect the parts 614 and 624 mutually by a conveyance path.
Also, a plurality of deposit ports may be arranged on the upper surface or side surface of the deposit / withdrawal machine. Further, a plurality of deposit ports may be arranged on different surfaces such as the front and rear surfaces and the upper and side surfaces of the depositing and dispensing machine.
As shown in FIG. 1, indicators 117 to 119 such as a lamp indicating whether or not charging is possible and a lamp for prompting charging may be provided at each slot. Accordingly, when the storage unit is full, the user can know that it is impossible to load paper into a specific slot.
Also, by providing such a display, it is possible to instruct which input port should be charged from a higher-level terminal device. For example, when it is desired to collect all the specific deposits, the higher-level terminal device activates a predetermined slot, that is, a slot indicator for collecting banknotes, to insert the banknotes to the user. Can be instructed.
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, indicators 124 to 126 such as lamps indicating processing units for collecting may be provided. In this way, it is possible to instruct the processing unit to be collected from the higher-level terminal or to indicate which processing unit banknotes should be collected to the person in charge of collection at the police company that has entered the ID.
In each of the above-described configurations, the deposit port and the payout port are different from each other, but the deposit port and the payout port may be shared.
Further, the present invention is not limited to banknote depositing and dispensing machines, and can be widely applied to paper sheet processing apparatuses that process paper sheets including banknotes, checks, tickets, and the like.
As described above, the present invention includes a plurality of input units, and by selecting the input unit to input the paper sheets, the processing related to the paper sheets can be selected. This is useful in that the operation of the apparatus is simple and the usability is improved.
