Abstract

The present invention refers to an automatic ignition system for heat- generating equipment and, more specifically, to an automatic ignition system to light a gas burner (1) of heat-generating equipment of the kind that comprises at least a gas burner (1) connected to a gas valve (2) by a gas pipe (3) and an ignition device (4) to inflame the gas in the gas burner (1). The system of the present invention provides a drive (5) connected to the ignition device (4), and the drive (5) automatically activates the ignition device (4) in response to the supply of a fuel gas flow to the burner (1).
