Abstract

A method for calculating the contribution of multiple vascular blood flow sources to tissues in a region of interest undergoing perfusion analysis establishes a model time-enhancement reference curve comprised of the weighted combination of reference time-enhancement curves calculated for each blood flow source. The weighting coefficients are calculated for each region of interest being analyzed using the model time-enhancement curve and a time-enhancement curve of the tissue at that location.
